Indique restaurant, It is a very nice restaurant to go to eat. The food was delicious, well cook fresh and well presented. The desert was fantastic also, would definitely recommend
MUST TRY! We had the chicken malai tikka, salmon tikka, and smoked lamb tikka. The lamb was amazing. Also the saag and biryani were great. Really, everything we had was absolutely delicious. Sunny was very nice and took great care of us. We have some dietary restrictions and he made sure to talk to the chef to make adjustments. He went really above and beyond.
I live locally and have ordered takeaway food from here numerous times. I’ve never been into the restaurant itself, but the food we’ve had delivered has been delicious, and would alway recommend to friends
My favourite takeaway place ever! The seitan is soooo tasty, I love the saagwala, the samosa's and the peshwari naan. It's hard to find a good vegan takeaway but this one is so, so good!! Even better than other Indian takeaways I used to get before I turned vegan. YUM!!
I called the restaurant to ask for clarification on the vegan options and the person who helped me was very friendly and helpful! When the food arrived it was DELICIOUS! One portion of pilau rice was more than enough for two of us. Everything was really really tasty!!! Can’t wait to try something else next time!
Good place for experience indian taste
The best Indian in Manchester with a twist on contemporary Indian food

Great experience, all-round
Fantastic food very welcoming staff. Love the food presentation. Definitely recommend this place 👍👍👍
Starters very good but a 2 hr wait for the main meal is not acceptable. Had to ask for the main meal too,did not want to eat after that. Food was good so I'm told
FAVOURITE & BEST curry place I've been. The food taste, quality, consistency and service is superb no matter how busy it is the standards are exceptional from all my visits👌 Compared to other Indian restaurants this place is in a league of its own.
Well what a shocking service! The wait was overly long, the table next to us was dirty the entire time and we had to order are drinks twicee. Once the food arrived it was not even blow able & there was no flavour. Was not worth the wait.
We ordered the Tarka Daal (V) and the Tikka Makhani Chicken and both were so tasty, can't wait to order again!
Disappointing food and service. My family and I went here after being told it’s one of the best Indian restaurants in Manchester. Really disappointing curry. Ordered a vegan korma with Seitan and ending up paying over £8 for a tub of soy milk soup and super soft seitan. Great food and service. Will go again when in Didsbury.
Food was delicious and service was outstanding. Staff was very knowledge about the menu which is important when dining out. Vegan option were so tasty. I am not a vegan but I enjoy vegan food. Salmon slightly overcook but apart for that 5 stars. We went on Wednesday so the atmosphere was perfect. I would definitely recommend it and we will go back.
Very tasty food
Absolutely bangin' just had all the starters like tapas and everything was a revelation. New fave place
Travelled from Bradford (the curry capital!) to dine her....this in itself says a lot about how much I like the food at Indique The food is always excellent and I look forward to visiting again.
Amazing
Was really looking forward to dining here. Service was awful and the food wasn't as good as the takeaway I had ordered from them previously.
Excellent food I had the lamb chop starter that was amazing followed by lamb saag & pilau rice the lamb was out of this world no fat anywhere it was delicious also the presentation of the food was very good. I will definitely eat there again there were 10 of us at a 70th birthday celebration and we all loved it 5☆ all day long. Compliments to the chef 🍽🍴

Top tier for an indian, staff/food nice and good vibes
Being Asian I'm a bit fussy about Indian food. But this place was very good. Everything was tasty! Really good service too
Lovely food. Staff very pleasant.
Always amazing food and great service thanks again guys
Fantastic place!!! Best Indian I’ve had - highly recommend the chicken sagwala and the fried cauliflower as mains 😍 Lovely staff too, will be returning for sure!
Congratulations Indique, it’s so refreshing to have found a restaurant that caters for all. The vegan options are simply brilliant. This restaurant is totally 5 star. If you are looking for authentic Indian food send amazing hospitality then this is the place for you.
Poor Deliveroo experience. Complaint brushed off and told thank you ! Even though spent £200 at this place once covid lifted! No decency or loyalty clearly reciprocal
I ordered a rogan e Nashua at which was watery and oily and did not taste good at all. Very disappointing considering the premium pricing

I was really shocked we have asked for the manager on duty in order to raise my concerns, who came and said sorry for what happened, and he took the jar to the counter in order to replace it. I was really disappointed,I request anyone who wants to eat there to check his food before, I suffered from bad Stomach pains and felt sick for a while. Less
Great quality food, great service and a great location. I'll be back!
Very tasty food, with good portions well presented by attentive staff, modern, clean, comfortable decor. Great experience, but the main thing is the food, four of us in our party all agreed it was delicious.
Absolutely amazing! Friendly staff and great service, very pleased with the food, definitely coming again and trying something different as every dish looks astounding, Indian traditional flag kulfi is the perfect desert to a perfect meal. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Great environment, amazing food, aswell as the staff who were very polite and understanding highly recommended I will definitely be coming back.
Nice meal, presentation fantastic. Lovely lamb Lal maas. Touch on the expensive side but it is Didsbury
Stand out meal and service. Genuinely outstanding. My friend said it was one of the best onion bhajis she's ever tasted. Can't recommend it enough. What a treat to have so close by!
Not happy with my order. The main dishes was under curry, so I ordered a curry and got lamb and rice. They didn't want to change my order. So disappointed 😞
Great Indian cuisine
Food is lovely as always! Lovely and professional service. Don't have to wait too long for the food to arrive. On the down side quantity isnt great for the price!... apart from that it's a good place for a special occasion or a one off meal!
Fantastic restaurant with a brilliant menu. Such a massive amount of choice for vegetarians and vegans too, with a whole vegan and vegetarian menu! Lovey staff and excellent service!
Best meal I’ve had since going veggie / vegan in 2017! I cannot recommend enough. Lovely staff and heaters outside too 😸😸😸
Lovely little cosy place and the food is amazing! The owner and staff were very nice and helpful We had a selection of street food starters and everything was so tasty 👍
Didn’t acknowledge our presence for ages and then said they’d check the booking name and didn’t come back for over 20 mins.
Amazing vegan menu! So many options with a lot of thought and effort put into each one. The seitan tikka is amazing, the best we’ve ever had! Everything is beautifully presented, really great value and the service is fantastic.

Presentation is almost fine dining style and the range of choice and flavours are excellent. It's always a go to when taking guests out as it has a nice special occasion vibe whilst being reasonably priced for the quality (if not cheap). Staff are always great, especially as I've seen some extremely busy sittings in there and it's always handled well. I order it on Deliveroo from time to time and whilst it's still the same good food, I would really recommend visiting to get the full experience Less
Wonderful food and great service
I celebrated my PhD today in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that it was a marvelous evening and the place was undoubtedly one of the reasons for that strong event. The stuff collaborated in a very nice manner, the meals were extremely good and my friends were extremely pleased. We shall surely return for more joyful events. thanks very much.
Had a takeaway last night. The pashwari nan was great not too thick or doughy. The paneer was tasty and the lamb was tender. The portions were a good size. The lemon rice could have been more special, the onion bagji needed to be crispier (less flour and more onion) and the spinach sauce with the lamb needed more of a kick (ginger and herbs).

Excellent food and service. Went for my brithday meal a few days ago. The staff really went the extra mile to make it special. Food was amazing especially the smokey lal maas pitika. Definitely going again. Everything is nice and clean. I highly recommended this place. Must try.
Absolutely love this place, both for dine in or takeaway. The food is presented exceptionally well and the flavour is yummy. The menu has some great choices. As a coeliac a curry is an easy gluten free option and it’s nice to be able to try some different dishes. I highly recommended this place.
My main was great I had lamb and the table next to me had the smoking lamb chops that looked great and he recommended them so will be having that on my next visit. The staff a lovely friendly and attentive and the restaurant has a really good atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Had a brilliant take away from this place tonight. Fantastic flavours, one of the best ive ever had! 100% recommended!!
OK so I don't usually write reviews for restaurants I have visited, but felt the need to write one for this place. I had a good time here, but that was all down to the company and not the food. So as a warning to anyone who has a refined palette for Indian/Pakistani food, I would not recommend this place. If you don't, then by all means go, you'll probably love it. I won't lie, the presentation of the food was done well and the service was definitely above average. The food however was disappointing to say the least. So for the starter, I went simple and ordered veg samosas , which came out alright, but lets be honest you can't really muck up veg samosas. Next came the mains, I ordered the duck curry, and honestly this might be one of the worst curries I have eaten in Manchester, and trust me I have been around and been to some pretty terrible establishments, but even they produced curries with a bit of flavour. If you're paying almost £14 for a curry, first of all you don't expect it to come out in such a small portion. Secondly, and most importantly, the taste was poor. The curry sauce had no flavour and the duck itself was chewy and dry. Don't be fooled by the interior and the presentation of the food, the prices are generally just over the top. As they describe themselves, they are certainly unique and they are certainly Indian, but that doesn't necessarily make them good or better than anywhere else. Less
We think this is the best curry in South Manchester, and really excellent takeaway. The subtlety and variety of flavours is wonderful.
As good as Indian cuisine can be
Slight whoopsie with our order, the kitchen lost our ticket, so had to wait a while. But the nice guys gave us a drink by way of compensation. Foods great as well.

The location was very accessible for persons using a wheelchair or those who need assistance for movement. Lights were perfectly dimmed (lowered) for those who are sensitive to bright light and everyone was very accommodating at the restaurant. High praise for the staff - especially the General Manager. I will definitely visit Indique again in the future when we visit the UK again. PS. The restaurant has won various competitions and holds various awards. Less
Great food with amazing presentation! Came here for a birthday celebration & everyone loves their meals apart from starter scallops being very small. Not 5 stars due to the high pricing & being understaffed which meant we waited a bit longer than normal. We found the more tasty meals to be the more expensive ones.
Visited last week on Monday with my family. Food was delicious and finger licking. Very nice and hard working staff. Portions of items are not enough for the price. Preventing measures for Corona were far from less. As a medical Doctor I will suggest owner to deal with this immediately. But overall this is a first class Indian Restaurant in Manchester. Dr. Sinha

The place was spotless clean, all staff wearing masks and gloves,we saw staff disinfecting hand rails and tables as well.It really made the difference. Regarding food,we are very particular about the level of spice when it comes to curry and often dissatisfied with weak currys that lack flavour and spice. But let me tell you,I haven't had such perfect lamb rogan in months,if not years! It was hot, full of flavours and the portion was generous. Our lamb shank was delicious too.Peshwari naan very naughty (sweet and coconutty) and another thing worth mentioning were dips that came with poppadums. They were different to your standard mint yoghurt and chopped onions. They were ALL unique (apart from chutney which is hard to make unique)and again- I normally stick to 1dip but in this case I just had to eat them all- even the oniony mixture and I never eat onions! Seriously,go visit the place,it is absolutely lovely and we can't wait to go back!If it wasn't for the fact we live 5hrs drive away we would be there every week. Less

Disgusted and appalled. We visited Indique on 19/8/2020 to take an advantage of eat out scheme. We wanted to come in February but did not come. The experience here was very bad and more over when they lie to all their decent customers who are helping them to come out of the situation they were in. Firstly, i would start with the bill. On the bill, in VAT column they have mentioned that 5% vat is included in the total bill but they actually charge full 20%. So they misguide their customers. I agree that you are not obliged to pass on the Vat benefit which you get from the govt to your customers but at least do not make fool of them and play with their trust by writing 5% VAT included. When you do not pass on the benefit to your customers then be honest and write full 20% VAT charged on the bill and i am sure that everyone will understand this.We downloaded your menu in Feb and matched your bill with that so i know. Secondly, we ordered veg samosa and chops. On all of your pictures it says3 samosas in a portion for a starter and even on a poster outside your restaurant and also We got 2 chops in starter portion so when asked your waiter in black jacket then he replied we have reduced the portion for many dishes and lamb chops are served as per weight.Really.... weight before cooked or after cooked?. But the price and VAT are still up and portions are smaller than before. Thirdly, Social distancing... What is this? They were not bothered at all. Hardly had any distance in between people. People who were booked were forced to wait in a small confined alley which is the main way in and out. People who were leaving had to touch others while going out and saw delivery people were using the same space. I will not blame customers as they booked but this was the restaurants responsibility to ensure that all the guidelines are followed but no... nothing. They were overly booked their restaurant and the staff was well stretched and no one seemed to be happy. Our main course took more than an hour as they were not able to cope. The toilets were filthy and dirty.. forget about sanitising, they were not even cleaned. The way they were running the place was pathetic. I completely understand that they need money but not like this by putting their staff and customers at risk. We had the same waiter again came near by so we asked who was the manager and he pointed out to the owner and was the same guy who was giving people drink for free whilst they were queuing. This was not good instead of asking them to be safe , the situation was made more difficult. We had enough and just wanted to leave after our meal and when we asked for bill then overheard the same guy talking to the next table and telling them to put some good review on TA? This is how they get it? The staff was just running off their feet. Food was good but is very expensive. This is definitely not the best Indian Restaurant in Manchester. We had eaten in town and they are more better and organised. We will definitely not visit this place again. Less

I really wanted to like Indique, my partner and I have lived around and promised ourselves to go for a special occasion. Today we had something to celebrate and decided to give it a try! We assumed that it would be full given the 'eat out to help out' scheme, but when we tried to book online there was a spot at 8 so we gladly went ahead and booked. Upon arrival, there were several people (10+) waiting outside, and no indication of what was happening. We waited for a good 10 minutes, but nothing changed, no one came to talk to us, and the queue was not moving. I decided to go peak in the window to see if it looked busy, and I was shocked at the number of people inside the restaurant. There appeared to be no social distancing whatsoever. At that point, it was more than 15 minutes past our booked slot, so we decided to leave. I would not have felt safe eating in such a crowded restaurant, and I am disappointed in how little indications there was for customers. I understand that this is a new and difficult period for everyone, but I feel that there was severe overbooking and little respect for social distancing recommendations. We were lucky to live close by and to be able to go home, but for someone booking from further this could be a truly disappointing situation. I hope they will sort out this situation quickly for future customers. Less
It’s always a treat dining at Indique! Despite being incredibly busy this evening the food was absolutely delicious and service was lovely. We would thoroughly recommend to others!!
Fantastic find. Food was out of this world. Some contemporary indian food but a lot of new and innovative dishes to be had. Very good value too. House red merlot very good as is the kulfi ice-cream
Regularly eat at Indique. Strict Covid procedures in place in case anyone is worried. Fabulous food as always Lamb Biriyani a MUST! Go and enjoy!
Beautiful food. Accommodated for very special request which was perfect. However the service wasn’t up to scratch after they brought out the starters + mains all at once to which the waiter started to argue with me saying we ordered it all to come at once and didn’t offer to keep the mains hot lol
Amazing food. Friendly staff. Family owned restaurant and all food and drinks reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again. Really good food and service, try the kulfi for dessert it is amazing! Everything we ate was spot on and it’s a really nice atmosphere and environment to eat in. Can’t wait to go back!
Amazing food! Friendly staff and they’re taking all precautions for Covid - staff were wearing masks and gloves and they provide masks to customers if you need to go to the restroom. Excellent service over all
The desserts were pretty good - better than I had expected; Gulab-jamun was warm and sweet but not too sweet; the kulfi had three good flavors that complemented each other and the gajar halwa was well cooked without having too much sweetness or ghee. All together, the food was done well
Delicious curry and great service. Prefer naan and bahjis at other places, hence only 4 stars
Excellent service ,food atmosphere
Stand out Indian restaurant, would highly recommend
Great food, great service and felt very safe with all the COVID-19 precautions they've put in place. Highly recommended
Food was amazing and the service was some of the best I've had in manchester
Second time ordering from this restaurant in less than a month and the food is A1! The service is REALLY what impresses me! My takeaway order tonight had an incorrect dish (instead of dal makhani, it looked like chicken makhani?) which I phoned them about and they were quick to send out a replacement which I received within 10minutes! Super efficient service! Can't recommend this place enough!!
Beautiful interior, delicious food and friendly staff who went above and beyond. It's very expensive, which is the only reason it's not five stars. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it 😊
Comfortably the best Indian restaurant in Manchester. Discovered randomly on deliveroo during lockdown have been there for a sit down meal since it reopened. The lamb shank is AMAZING, and the tarka dhal is the best I've ever had - thick, spicy and herby 👌
Been regular customers here since it opened a couple of years ago.. The poppadoms and chutneys are that nice we always ask for it in baskets, but my personal favourite is the butter chicken with cheese naan (the initial pull of the cheese naan!!!), also king prawn & lamb chop grills!

Very nice food good atmosphere
Loved the food👍
Amazing food and good service
Food was great!!!
This is, as the name suggests, a rather unique Indian restaurant. Great food and fabulous atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Great food and drink and good customer service
Great meal
Great food
Best food ... Most authentic Indian in whole Manchester... Feels like you are back in streets of Delhi and Jaipur
Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend! We'll be coming back!

I ordered the chicken lababdar, the remaining members of the party, the smoked lamb curry. The carrot halwa dessert was ok. Didn't have the same consistency/thickness you normally get from traditional and appeared a little grainy/wet for my preference, but there'll be some that prefer it that way. Just a matter of personal opinion I guess. Interesting concept of asian fusion food. Not many restaurants like this. The combinations are good however, and I may consider returning to try some more dishes in the near future. Overall a job well done. Less
BEST customer service ever! Thank you guys so much!!
Absolutely amazing curry
Beautifully presented food and Deliscious..
Really lovely meal. The manager that took our order was very friendly!
The food was fantastic. Some of the best I have ever tasted. The ambience was pleasant and costs reasonable for the quality. The friends that I was with told me that the service was usually slow and it was on this occasion as well. However, staff were friendly.
This is without a doubt the best Indian food I've ever had. I'm from the Atlanta, GA area of the world, so we don't have a lot of good Indian restaurants around, so I'm always happy when I come to the UK, because Indian restaurants abound. I've eaten my fair share around London, but I can say that The Raj is by far favorite thus far.
One of the best dining experiences in Manchester. Food and service are top notch. Try the smoked lamb starter.
Wow what can I say amazing food, great staff and fantastic value
Amazing service ! We had a fantastic evening and were very looked after by staff. Highly recommended !!!
We have recently moved to MCR, and haven't really been impressed with our Indian food encounters so far. Indique was one of the better ones though. The food is delicious, though the portions may seem a bit lesser for the price! The service is adequate, and the staff is friendly. Clear indication on the spice level helps with the choice as well.

Hospitality at its finest with the manager constantly checking up on us and offering us suggestions for various foods and drinks. The food was immaculate and tasted even better (images below). Definitely worthy the fine-dining money value, as you also paid for the ambiance which was calming and clean. The location was very accessible for persons using a wheelchair or those who need assistance for movement. Lights were perfectly dimmed (lowered) for those who are sensitive to bright light and everyone was very accommodating at the restaurant. High praise for the staff - especially the General Manager. My partner and I will definitely visit Indique again in the future when we visit the UK again. PS. The restaurant has won various competitions and holds various awards. Less
Me and my girlfriend came here for New Year's Eve. The service, despite it being very busy was amazing, very accommodating and polite. The food was absolutely incredible tasting and presented beautifully. It really made our night special. Thank you. We will definitely be back x
Slow service an portions too small
Great food
Such a lovely place. Superb food. Friendly staff. Speedy service and beautiful decor ❤
Excellent food and service, would highly recommend
Service was really nice, my other half took me for my Birthday they even kindly bought out a cake!
Gorgeous Christmas Meal. The restaurant and tables were beautifully decorated, the food was delicious! Great atmosphere and excellent service. We had a great xmas day. Thank you very much 🎄🥳
Great food. I’m not an expert by any means, but this place was better than many indian joints I’ve been to.
Lively, friendly and busy making for a great atmosphere. A different slant on the traditional curry, the food was brilliant, beautifully presented and very tasty. One year on still brilliant. Been back again December 19 and it was awesome, made a big fuss for a birthday celebration, check out the cake picture
Incredible Indian food. Excellent presentation. Had a fantastic evening and were very looked after by staff. The manager is so friendly and took time to come over and chat. Highly recommend.
One of the best Indian meals I’ve ever had! W Deere a big table and all the food and service we had was brilliant!
Been there last night ... Never booked table ..yet they sorted us within minutes... Top food , top service .. top experience... This was best place to have our anniversary dinner ... Deffo going back for that Hyderabadi biryani and delicious kulfi ... Damn you guys are good .... Kudos and all the best
Fantastic food and friendly staff. Great for a romantic quiet meal during the week
This has got to be one of the best hidden gems I have discovered, highly recommend this place,AMAZING food and the desserts are a must try especially the kulfi trio . Staff are very friendly and helpful which is important in every business.thankyou guys like terminator says il be back 😄
Tasty food with excellent presentation
If you want a meal of top quality, highly flavoured, interestingly different Indian food visit Indique, from the smokey tomato dip with the poppadoms through the whole meal nothing disappointed,if you're a veggie there's as much choice as a carnivore which our veggie friend found a pleasure, well worth a visit
Not sure why this is rated so high.. the food is very bland.. but the service and atmosphere is good!
Good quality food, a bit different to normal Indian restaurants, not posh at all but the food is presented very well. Well worth a visit.
Really great authentic Indian food. We had the Bhel Kheema Nan and Hyderabadi Biryani and 5* to all. Service is super, as is the owner who came and had a chat with us. Recommended for all. Will definitely come here more often.
Great food, great service, would recommend the varied menu to anyone
Fantastic Indian street food served with style. great service, nice ambience.
Good Indian food
A unique take on indian food. Dishes well cooked and imaginatively presented.

Will defiantly come back again very soon with a bigger group so they can experience the place. Starter and main is around 20-25 pound each. Which I think is fine for top quality food. Less
Amazing food, only a little pricier than other Indian restaurants, but so worth it, you pay for what you get..... Service, quality, taste. Good vfm overall and service great.
Best I curry I've ever had! What an absolute gem. Indian food taken to the next level, stylish and so much flavour. Staff were fantastic and wine superb. Can't recommend highly enough.
Very enjoyable
Visited Indique with a group of friends and we were very impressed with the standard of food and service. Each curry we ordered has a distinct taste and full of flavour! We will be adding this to our list of favs and def returning.
Waited 10mins at the counter, ended up having to go to the bar to collar someone to serve me. Then told can't really do a takeaway at this time? Unreal!
The food was fantastic. Something different to the usual.
Interesting and modern take on traditional Indian cuisine. Absolutely superb food, and excellent service.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and the customer service was excellent too - the staff are so friendly. Will be coming again!
Great service, lovely ambience. Very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend
We ordered a mixed grill and two mains. One is vegetarian Spinach ball, another one is lamb. I can’t recall the name of the curry sauce, but they were tomato based well combined flavor. The chef can make it not spicy at all which was good to my husband who hates spicy food. Both mains were very good and I didn’t want to waste a single drop even I was so full. This is just the best Indian restaurant and takeaway in Manchester! Try it and you'll not stop going back! Highly recommended
We love South Asian food, and one of our family eats Halal, so Indique seemed perfect. It surpassed our expectations. The food is absolutely delicious - Fantastic presentation, Helpful staff with amazing service, Very pleased.A nice twist on Indian, tasty and beautifully presented by very nice, helpful staff. Made a lovely change from standard type of restaurant
Wonderful neighborhood restaurant with lots of well executed staples as well as more exotic dishes. The service was excellent and very friendly, the ambiance is great. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Manchester or nearby.
Way below average take away. Lamb tikka was very tough. Samosa filling was a strange colour and texture, bhajis were ok. Paneer makhani was definitely just paneer in Heinz tomato soup. Disgraceful excuse for an Indian takeaway.
Great chicken biryani!!
Only our second visit but Indique is quite possibly the finest Indian cuisine I’ve ever eaten, the staff are also very pleasant too.
Great food different choices and the staff are great and the owner is a lovely guy..xx
Food is awesome service is non existent
Portion sizes are small. I've tasted better pani puri. Average at best.
If you want an indian restaurant with flare, try this place! Food is presented nicely, good variety and everything we've ever tried tastes superb. Plenty of homemade choices such as the samosas (recommend). Friendly staff and good choice of wines. It was our second time and will def be back for more.
Amazing food and great service. Very impressed with the vegatarian option too! Thank you
Great food and really friendly service
The food is as good as you'd expect at a top class French restaurant and the service and attention to detail second to none, didn't use the bathroom facilities but every thing seemed clean and well maintained.
Fortunately we had made reservations! This place seems to be a popular Indian joint for Saturday evenings. Layered dark and white choc mousse on a delicious base, this was garnished by yet again sauces of amazing flavours (strawberry, apple and mango). It was pleasure eating here and will be back soon for more ! Less
Its fine indian dining. Presentation is always superb. Staff is super nice. We orderd korma and it was not for us. Anyother restaurant would have let us eat that but they not only changed it but given a dish which was we were after and as it was my wifes Birthday so they surprised her with dessert. Lovely touch well impressed.

We started with the Pani Puri which was a rollercoaster ride of zingy and refreshing flavours, a perfect start to the meal. For mains I ordered the Chicken Biryani which came with raita; this was spectacular! The rice was aromatic and it was topped with fried onion (always goes a long way). My husband had the incredibly flavourful Chicken Jalfrezi with naan. This was a treat if your palate entertains spicier food. Be sure to try the Indian summer mocktail, I couldn't get enough of it and even tried recreating it at home! The service was excellent; the staff were always at hand (despite the cricket world cup coinciding with our visit) and they were more than happy to jazz up our dessert plate for the special occasion. You have me raving! Less
Really good food...the lamb chops are outstanding
One of the best Indian places around by far, wonder how this isn't a Michelle star rest!
Excellent food and great service. Went to celebrate a milestone birthday.
Good
You will be greeted by a the warmest smiles. The owners are Gujarati folks who know Indian food. The menu is pretty expansive. You have a variety of chicken, lamb, Keema and vegetarian curries on display. Mix and match with rice and/or naan. The curries go really well with rice.

I order chicken beryani and tikka from Indique via food delivery app. The food took very long time to prepare. The price of the beryani was double that of similar restuarants and the quality was average. Not satisfied at all.

The waiter brought a complimentary appetizer that included a small amount of papadoms with 3 dips to share, which was delicious. Alcoholic drinks were reasonably priced, about £4.50 for a pint, and we got a jug, yes a jug, of mango lassi to share for about £8.50, which I think was tasty. Main meals were all flavoursome. I got the vegetarian Jalfezi (£8), which was 4 out of 5 on the spicy scale, and this was full of flavour but maybe only a 3 out of 5. However, I do like my spice. It was accompanied by coconut rice (£3.50), which was definitely tasty but this, I felt, was way overpriced for what you get. Actually, all the rices were overpriced, which was somewhat disappointing. I also ordered a peshwari naan (about £3.50), which was one of the best I've had in recent memory. We were all pretty full after our meals so unfortunately didn't sample any of the desserts. All in all, for a complimentary appetizer, shared mango lassi, main meal, rice and naan it was about £25. Very tasty but comes with the price tag. Looking forward to the prices of Brick Lane when I'm back in London. Less
Fantastic presentation and delicious food. We were so hungry after the world cup cricket game and the place was busy. But the staff gave great service and food was satisfying!
Not your average Indian restaurant. Very nice decor, lots of vegetarian choices on the menu. Food presented very nicely and tasted delicious. Worth going before 6 on certain days to get 20% off as it isn't the cheapest, we did have to ask for this though. I think this has more a date vibe than mates going out for a curry vibe. Really nice atmosphere and good service too.
Good atmosphere, nice presentation of food and pretty reasonably priced. Definitely something a little bit different in terms of how your plate arrives 👍
Great Indian food with unique presentation.
It was as a busy night and I was with a group of 12 so food took a little long. But it was delicious, I had a lamb korma for my main with mushroom rice, one of the best I've had.
Fantastic
One of the best restaurants we've ever been to. Loved the food and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Would go every night if we could!
Another gem of a restaurant... superb food... only minor downside would be small portions, but the taste is the best I’ve tasted in Manchester yet. Really tasty lamb chops, seek kebab and rogan gosht lamb curry. My son had the Hyderabad biryani and loved it. Lovely, polite staff and great service
Definitely a step up creatively from your average Indian restaurant but without losing the charm we all know and love.
Lovely authentic food, good service.. Hope they do not go up on the price so that we can keep coming back
Tasty food
The food was delicious creative and good value. Service was efficient and welcoming. A window seat added to the experience.
Really awsome.. Taste is very nice and the ambiance was perfect. Good place to celebrate the special occasion..

The food and service here is out of this world with an award winning chef it was worth the drive all the way from the Midlands. Personal table service even from the owner. Warm welcome great tasting unique Indian or should I say indique food. One of my faves restaurants where I'll never forget the whole experience
One of the best Indians in Manchester. The owner is very proud of the fact that all sauces are made from scratch. Great value for amazing food
One of the very best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. The food is to die for and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Have booked to go again.
The best Indian food in Didsbury
Terrific and friendly management and staff !
Lovely restaurant; Air conditioning is needed though as it gets hot . Food top quality and quite filling. Staff friendly. No issues
Great service, beautiful plating, high quality food and nuanced tastes. Best Indian I've had in a long time, with a creative menu on top of old classics. Highly recommend and will be back.
Simply superb is the word for the food and ambience here, i went to the restaurant with my family on my wife's birthday and it was a perfect choice. All the food I had here was 5 star quality in presentation and taste. I would personally recommend for any one to try here becoz once you try you will be regular here....
I can't recommend Indique enough. Exceptional food, attentive staff. Really good.
Food, service, fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely stunning food and service, staff perfect and offered us options on anything!! Superb all round experience will 100% well worth a visit I certainly will be again👏🏻👍🏻
Amazing experience, presentation is Michelin star, great food, service and quality. Halal food but alcohol is served on premises. Highly recommended.
Gorgeous food, lovely staff and a great setting. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Being of Indian heritage, Indian restaurants never really excite me much. But, wow! This was an experience. The food was absolutely fantastic. Very unique menu, and exceptional presentation. Definitely not the usual run of the mill curry houses. Staff were excellent. I think I can honestly say that this was probably the best Indian I have EVER had! The presentation of the food was sublime. Somewhat on the expensive side for an Indian nevertheless the presentation made it worth while

In comparison to the other Indian restaurants in Manchester, this place is particularly overpriced for the quantity of food served. The quality or taste of food is CERTAINLY not unique nor worth the extra cost. The most disappointing items on the Menu were the Chats, which seemed to be made using the ready-made sauces available at a supermarket. Moreover, the quantity of Chat served was dismal at best : 4.5 pounds for a small cup of Bhel Puri and 4.5 pounds for 4 units of Pani puri! That's ridiculous. Overall, a disappointing experience and something that you could skip. Less
A fancy, overpriced place which is not worth a visit. if you end up here, please do not try the chats as they seem tooriginate from the supermarket.
Very nice food!
Quality food and service as always. My favourite place for a curry in manchester
Very happy with the food and service...must try place for authentic north Indian food!! The food presentation is amazing 👍👍😃😃
This is a fabulous restaurant. I had leg of lamb. This was an assault on my taste buds! Never tasted those flavours before. The service was exceptional. Nice to see a family of Hindus out there for the night. Kinda puts a gold star on the evenings proceedings. Will definitely go again.
Lovely staff and amazing food!
Went there for a dinner with some customers. Excellent food and excellent service.
Pleasant
Food and service were so good that we went twice in a short 4 day trip to Manchester area.
Service is excellent, food is fabulous. Fantastic Authentic Indian cuisine. Soon visiting again.
Great starters vegetables and breads; good lamb but ok chicken biryani.
Best Indian food for miles around, a real gem. From starters to pudding, everything was delicious, fresh and gorgeously presented.
Not Your Standard Curry House. The presentation and flavour of the food is the best I’ve seen in Manchester. They pride themselves on being authentic as such you may miss the popadoms but the rest of the food, atmosphere and service were great. We had a meal for five of us and everyone was impressed. Rounded off with a proper After-Eight. We’ll be going back!
Probably my favourite Indian restaurant I’ve been to. Been here a few times and the service and the food are always great. Recommend the gobi manchurian as a side or starter and all the veggie dishes I’ve had are good (haven’t tried the meat). The garlic naan is good too and not as filling as other places
Delicious Food, Amazing Service & Great Hospitality.
Fab. Buzzing. Busy. Great service. Friendly staff and lovely food

Great service. Great food. Reasonably priced. Can't wait to come again
Lovely food, excellently presented. Waitors were friendly but a little inattentive
Wonderful food brilliant presentation. I would definitely recommend it.
Gem of a place. Despite the somewhat non-prime location, the interiors are nice and somewhat modern in decor. The bar has a decent choice of drinks. The food was quite a revelation. All the dishes had their own flavor unlike your usual "curry house" fare. The murgh methi and the smoky lal maas lamb are outstanding. Definitely worth visiting again.

Booked online for 8pm this Saturday evening. Arrived to a chaotic restaurant and queue out of the door. No one approached so I stopped a waiter and was told they would get to us. After 20 minutes standing waiting the proprietor came over and said that people had shown up late for their tables so they were running late and asked us to take a seat. Waited another 20 mins with no further communication so we left. Never had that happen before. Pretty disappointed. Less
Very well presented food. I could not say the taste is exceptional. The decor needs a revamp I think, especially from the outside. Desserts are mediocre. Not one we rush back to.
Superb authentic Indian food! Great friendly service, lovely atmosphere and a good vibe.
great food and very fast service
First off I would like to start on a positive note and say the presentation of the food here is very good but that is where the positive ends... First off I would like to start on a positive note and say the presentation of the food here is very good but that is where the positive ends... Myself and group of friends came here for the 1st time for my birthday and to start we booked a table for 19:00 a week before our visit and got numerous phone calls leading up to the day to change our booking time as the restaurant had taken an additional booking that they couldn't handle for 20:25, they wanted to let us know that we had to vacate the table by 20:25. As people I'm sure are aware when you have a group for a birthday meal they can't finish a 3 course or even a 2 course meal comfortably in 1 hour 25 mins that was the first thing that annoyed us about this restaurant and when we came on the night it went downhill from there. 1 - we got seated at 19:10 then after 15/20 mins no one came to take our order so we had to get the attention of the staff to initiate them to take our order. 2 - the food although well presented was tasteless, bland and probably the worse Indian food I've ever had and I'm Indian so I know my food. 3 - the next point is that the wait time between clearing our starters and getting our mains was 30mins and when the restaurant wants the table back by a certain time you would expect the staff to be quick in getting your food and clearing your table. 4 - after the mains my friends wanted to surprise me and get the staff to bring out a cake they bought but the manager said to me that we needed to clear the table and got rid of our drinks without us finishing them and told my friends that he wasn't going to bring the cake out for us as they wanted the table back so we felt rushed and my friends brought the cake out for me, on top of that the staff didn't provide with any plates or cutlery to eat the cake so packed the cake away and asked for the bill as we felt like we were getting kicked out because the manager on numerous occasions tried to rush us and told us he needed the table!! 5 - we got up and went to the till to make payment where none of the staff or management were interested in taking payment from us, we were stood there for 10/15min we tried to get the attention of the staff but they weren't acknowledging us. The manager also kept saying bye and was practically walking us out of the restaurant without taking payment from us. So then we left because he wasn't taking payment and we had such a bad experience. 6 - the manager then contacted us regarding payment and we wanted to be compensated with a reduced bill because of the poor experience we had but the manager refused and threated myself and my party with the police which I didn't appreciate! To conclude the manager didn't take any blame or fault for the poor service, overbooking and rubbish food and had excuses for everything that happened rather then solutions and admitting fault on his and his staffs behalf. We made full payment after harassment from the manager. I NEVER EXPECTED SOMEONE WHO CLAIMS FINE DINING TO TREAT HIS CUSTOMERS THIS WAY. IF YOU LIKE AND KNOW YOUR FOOD THEN DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE!! P.S the manager is threatening me and my friends and harassing us because he can't take criticism and everyone who gives him a bad review he responds in such a rude manner!!! Less
Went with friends recently and had some excellent food and service
Went early evening on a weekend. Pleasant and helpful staff. Food was pleasing to the eye and tasty. Definitely worth going to feel like a Michelin star dinner but without the hefty price. Would recommend the desserts as well. Portions are quite small and drinks/nan very overpriced
Trying a bit too hard to make a curry trendy. Food was nice enough, but it's not the best curry on Burton Road. I'd pick Great Kathmandu or the Gurkha Grill instead.
Delicious food
Amazing, special, food, excellent service and a great atmosphere. Love it here. Book for weekends, it's mobbed!
Worst experience ever!!! Horrible food and very poor management...would not recommend
Excellent food... Great hospitality
Very close to a 5* ! Quality of the food second to none, only small negative( and it is small) is the food to naan portion ratio needed more curry( compliment as food was awesome) :) deffo be back
Fantastic food especially starters are like street food back in India. Great owner, wonderful crockery and ambience with friendly staff. He needs to sort out the service when busy if he wants to compete with major players in Manchester.
Incredible Indian food, some of the best presentation I've ever seen and the taste to match.
Very nice!
This restaurant food taste is very good. Chicken Tikka and Keema Nan are perfect and really enjoyed eating. Next to tram station and easily accessible
Lovely restaurant, great service & even better food
Best Indian restaurant meal in a very long time, thank you for great food and great service I will be back

Nice (enough). A little pricey
Tasty and well presented food, ambiance is nice.
A lovely place to eat. Food is fantastic. Staff very courteous. A gem in didsbury.
Great food friendly atmosphere and brilliant service
Great staff great food moderate prices.
Food was Amazing. Best Indian we've had in a long time
Great food highly recommend. Beautifully cooked and presented. Great service and owner Dinesh so passionate about his restaurant...we will definately be back!
A class above other Indian eateries , on a similar theme to the Tiffin Room
Fantastic food. Go there to have their trademark biryani.
Wonderful food that is beautifully served
Great food and beautifully presented. Also very reasonable.
Best indian restaurant we have ever tried! Low waiting time for dishes. Very sophisticated dishes and still reasonable prices. Staff are very professional and kind.
It's unique Indian
Food was excellent
Excellent food, excellent service. Authentic and tasty.
One of the best currys ever. Done in a very sophisticated way,not just your average curry. Very very good.
One word review, Quality!
Good service superb food. Freshing Indian cuisine with a different take.
Very good vegetarian selections, nice venue with plenty of space, staff are friendly and food was served quickly.
Staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was well presented and tasted great. Highly recommended.
We visit Indique very frequently as we love the food and get along very well with the owner. As usual we went yesterday(05/11/2017) afternoon after a very busy day. We visit Indique very frequently as we love the food and get along very well with the owner. As usual we went yesterday(05/11/2017) afternoon after a very busy day. It was fairly empty with a few couples occupying the four seater tables but we were categorically/rudely asked to sit on a two seater table. Anyways we ordered some beer and starters and were waiting for ages with the complementary poppadums as the waiter had forgotten about our order so we had to remind someone about it after which they got the beer. We had finished the poppodums so requested him to get some more only to be rudely snapped back by him saying they will cost you a pound which we were fine with. Again after waiting ages, we had to ask them to take our mains order which was veg. Jalfrezi. As we are vegetarians, we asked him to swap the chicken for paneer which after shaking his head, he accepted. He decided to charge us an extra £2 for the paneer and on questioning, he said that paneer is costlier than lamb. All in all very rude and appalling behaviour We will not be returning to this place again which is a shame as the food is lovely and the owner is a very nice guy. You have just lost a very loyal customer... Less
Probably one of the best. The smoked lamb tikka and Biriyani are fab. Staff very helpful. Dinesh, the owner, very knowledgeable about the food.
Best Indian Restaurant I've visited in years. An absolute peach of a place. You will not regret visiting here.
Went to this restaurant after reading the reviews online. Was not disappointed at all. The food was beautifully presented and tasted very good. We normally eat spicy food. But here we decided to try to mild on spice, creamier versions and we were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food. Would definitely recommend!
Great food, I would describe it as semi fine dining. Very well priced, 3 courses 2 drinks around £40
Nice place and friendly staff with delicious food :)
Incredible place....can't think of anything bad about the place and that says a LOT!!
Great authentic Indian food... Great service... Loved their Britain!
Firstly I'll mention this was a delivered meal so the experience in the restaurant may differ and of course I can't comment on the service so my review will be on the quality of the food I received alone. Firstly I'll mention this was a delivered meal so the experience in the restaurant may differ and of course I can't comment on the service so my review will be on the quality of the food I received alone. I've had Indian and Bangladeshi food all over the country and in many other countries too so I've probably had the best I will somewhere before now. Unfortunately, given the price, location and how busy the restaurant was when I passed this evening I was very disappointed. The great thing I find about Indian food is the wealth of base ingredients, spices, vegetables and dairy that make up such a great food genre and all I can honestly say about the dishes I tried is, in a word, dry. There wasn't a great depth to the flavour in the masala sauce I had, which can be expected as it's a commonly basic dish as far as Indian food goes. The paneer wasn't enjoyable at all. It was very dry, tough and even blackened to a crisp around the edges. The nicest items I had were the Kathi Rolls. Not dry, plenty of flavour. Naan breads were quite dry but the peshwari was far more enjoyable than the keema. Onion Dall bhaji was nice but very run of the mill. Given the other reviews I expected spot on food but it fell well short of the mark for me. Less
Excellent and very well presented food. Very efficient and friendly service.
Delicious
Delicious and great service
Brilliant food, would highly recommend
Good fine dining experience limited veg choices
Great food and service!! I recommend the Biryanis and the Lamb Rogan.
Top class
Food didn't live up to expectations except the lamb kebab which was delicious. Otherwise, the coke was from a can and still flat and the food average at best. Disappointed.
Probably a bit too good for the price it is currently.
Great food good service
Excellent presentation, lovely dishes, all made with interest and attention to detail
Best Indian restaurant in the North!
Great food and putting a lot of care and thought into every detail of the food and experience. Beautiful decor and presentation
A different twist on your average Indian, very tasty indeed!
Fantastic service, great food
Real good dining experience. Nice staff an atmosphere and food is more like art real good place to go to..
Third time this week I've been here. It's just a little bit different and the staff are great
Absolutely delicious!
Great food. The way it's presented is special.
Fantastic Starters, curries were great but I have had better.
Street food is amazing. Nice atmosphere. Number one curry in didsbury!
Great food and service
Good food and friendly staff. Very comfortable atmosphere will definitely come again.
Good ambience, service and food. Good presentation. The mutton biriyani is a must try.
Delicious, authentic curry. Friendly staff, swift service and great prices
Best unique Indian Restaurant in South Manchester, very different menu. Just try it, no vindaloo guys.
It was lovely atmosphere, very trendy
It is great place to eat, Delicious food peaceful and relax environment and kind and lovely staff, it was pleasure to spend time there
Amazing food, don't think it twice, just go now! Prices are very good for the quality food and service!
Possibly the best curry I've ever had and the service was very nice.
good food and good service
The food is exceptional at Indique. A true taste of India. Subtle use of spices, ingredients and cooking techniques create distinctive flavours. The Malabar seabass took me right back to Kerala - this is the first time I've tasted such authentic tastes in a restaurant in the UK. Well worth the trip.
Good. Different twist on the average curry house although 1 or 2 dishes werent as good as I expected. Expensive
Tasty but small portions.
One of the best and most interesting Indian meals I have ever had would recommend everybody to try it particularly vegetarian
The food was excellent and the service was very friendly.
Fantastic food, very unique indeed coupled with great service (made adjustments to disabled toilets to make a baby change area!) would highly recommend
Surprised me! Really good authentic Indian food and a nice atmosphere! I will be returning!
Absolutely brilliant indian. Best I've been to so far in Manchester and I've been to many. Offers lighter, more refined cuisine with some interesting starters. Chilli panneer is super tasty. Also the duck main dish is awesome. The manager is very helpful in providing advice for your choice of dish.
We went there because of the very good reviews and we were pleasantly satisfied! The food was very good, tasty and perfect size portion! I decided to give 5 stars because the food was very good, but also the restaurant was clean, not too noisy and the staff very friendly and obliging! We will come back!
Not your usual Indian restaurant, interesting and tasty menu. Would go again. Staff where great very attentive and friendly.
Amazing food. Probably the best curry house in Manchester.... If not the North West! Thanks for the birthday pudding. Your customer service is second to none
Rushed service and trying too hard with the food. Ready to take an order before offering popodums doesn't go down well. Nor to the small shaped popodums with tangy dips. I expect a full round crisp with traditional dips. The starters were weak followed by an awful curry. The menu was confused with the simplest curry being a jalfrezi. But was it done right? I'm afraid not. Confused curry that resembled a tomatoey curry with little flavour. The manager dealt with my displeasure and took it off the bill for which I am grateful for but I'm afraid... we will not be going again. Less
Quality food and service.
Great service, delicious food, fair prices. Will be back. Definitely recommend.
Delicious
Great food, great ambience and great service. What's not to like? Recommend the pani Puri for anyone visiting
Amazing food and presentation.
Outstanding! I'm struggling to think of an Indian meal I've ever eaten that tops this. Great service and value too.
This place was an absolute surprise find and one I will be going back to. All the dishes were presented with Michelin-style precision and artistry but it wasn't all style and no substance - the food tasted amazing and gave us both familiar and new flavours. Highly recommended.
Really a great taste. Different and unique...didnt find this quality taste elsewhere...
Amazing food and excellent customer service Would highly recommend.
Brilliant food and excellent hospitality:)
Looking for authentic or unique Indian dishes... Found a few here!
frankly the best Indian food i've tried in the UK till now
Really excellent food at decent prices. Staff are very attentive and friendly
Lovely food - thanks for a great evening.
This is a splendid new restaurant ! You must try it, now the best Indian in didsbury
