Zero stars. Jim did not complete the installation, it has been 2 months now and he will say he is coming and never show. I run a business from home and the drain he has yet to trim is a safety hazard for the children. I will not recommend this company to anyone else. My neighbors had trees removed and a chunk took the gutter off half the front of my house. The removal service paid to replace the gutter. Jim Jackson came to the house about a week later, alone in the truck. By himself, in about an hour and a half, he replaced 20 feet of guttering like a champ. Jame's main man Douglas always responded that we have to fix this or that (also) to do it right, then he would say no problem. The work was done very well and I was very picky. I would say that at least 2-3 days extra work was performed without complaint or additional charge. Sometimes the schedule would change, but I think every home owner should understand this is normal for a company doing multiple jobs to keep workers employed. They have to juggle from time to time when the unexpected happens like bad weather or a job becomes more than planned. This works to everyone's advantage at one time or another, particularly when the unexpected happens at my house. They worked it out as best they could and when it was complete, we were and are very happy. These are honest, consciencious and reasonable people that want you to be happy with their work and they are very good at all the things they do, not just gitters, but hose looked great too. We have a large contemporary house, about 22yrs old, with multiple peaks in the roof. Our gutters were no longer draining properly, the wood was rotting out underneath in several places. When it rained hard, we would literally get waterfalls off our front porch. Jim Jackson's company, the Gutter Doctor Plus, was referred to me by a work associate, said he'd done his house a few years ago, and done a great job. Jim came out, noted the house would be a big project because of the multiple peaks in the roof architecture and areas of rotting wood. His estimate was the lowest estimate as well. We also had an old tree, too close to the house, that had grown up into the areas of the gutters. Jim said they could also remove the old tree, if we liked, so we could plant something smaller in it's place. We opted to go with Jim and were very glad we did. They removed the old gutters, replaced the rotted wood, stained the new boards to match the existing house stain decor, and removed the old problematic tree. They placed seamless gutters, in some sections 50 feet long. They did an outstanding job and we couldn't be happier. It was a tremendous project, but he assured us that our satisfaction was most important to him. Since the gutters were replaced, it's rained heavily this spring. No longer do we have the waterfall off the front porch. Now, when it rains hard, we can hear the water running down the downspouts, and know everything is working. I hired Jim Jackson, owner of the Gutter Doctor, for their services on my new home that i had extensively detailed out and was assured that he would have the projects done in a certain timeline-of course understanding things can come up and cause the timeline to change to a degree. I have been very lucky with all other contractors I have hired but am beyond disappointed by this company and by Jim Jackson himself. He started out okay and then quickly the service level and the projects he pressured me to pay him for prior to completion stopped all together. He was always saying that he and his crew would be finished by x date or have y project in progress and they either failed to show up all together or completed a project incorrectly/halfway of what our agreement was. He also would not share a breakdown of what the project costs were, which is something he assured me he would do every step of the way. In addition to not completing half the projects he was paid for he and his crew also broke several of the blinds in my house, broke my garage door and the garage door opener, lost my garage door remote, ruined two rugs that were brand new by stomping mud and other liquids on them that were beyond repair, leaving over 60 nails on my driveway, leaving the door to the house unlocked and physically open on 2 occasions, and leaving a trailer at the end of my driveway preventing myself and my family from accessing the home for several days and on thanksgiving. He has still left items at my home that he refuses to pick up and I have now setup for a company to come by and take to dispose of. I highly recommend avoiding this company and Jim Jackson at all costs. There are several very skilled and great contractors in the area and he is not one of them. When they did finally come out and do the work weeks later they never notified me - so I kept calling them. Basically Jim will be very responsive and personable but if there are any issues with the work it will be very difficult to contact him. Now I find out that one of my gutters was sloped incorrectly, leading to overflows on one side. Not only that, but the 5" gutters feed into triangular downspout connectors that constrict water flow and lead to blockages/backups. Completely positive experience. I used their website to request a quote, and the owner Jim contacted me within the same day to set up a time to come have a look. He arrived at the appointed time and gave us a detailed quote within 24 hours of that visit. The workers were friendly and conscientious, and they even worked all day on a Sunday to finish things up. paid in full upfront and they completed 90% of job to satisfaction and after repeated calls and text with Jim the owner saying they will be back out to finish. It has been almost 3 months with no finish and no contact . Now I have to hire another contractor to finish what I already paid for. pretty upsetting.

Don't bother and don't waste your time with this business. After several phone calls and emails and promises to start job "tomorrow " they never showed up. Lost two weeks dealing with them.

One of their drivers just tried to force me into oncoming traffic as I was biking to work this morning. You're hiring road rage drivers if you work with these people.

Since they stopped talking/replying to me at all after I started going after them for a resolution, today I just reported them to Better Business Bureau. I've waited for over 6 months and they still haven't delivered what was promised. In fact, the issue I have now was created by them: they installed a gutter too far from the roof and most of the water now doesn't reach the gutter. I don't understand why they are choosing to jeopardize their company reputation for something so simple to get fixed. Less

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Although the quote for an easy repair was very high, I elected to give them my business...however, after agreeing to let them do the work, they stated they would let me know when they could come out and I haven't heard back since. Not very professional.

Jim was very friendly and prompt with his work. Got the seamless gutters up before the April rain started. Very knowledgable, gave some insight on other water prevention ideas with landscaping. Very satisfied with our experience.

Absolutely loved my gutter doctor plus experience. Husband got back surgery and it has been the first year that he has been unable to clean our gutters. I had a very pleasant experience with Jim and he was able to get the guys out to my house in 2 days and have the job done for me.

I have my gutters cleaned every year since I bought my house back to 2008. I have used services from different company, and the charge was never over $150.00. This year is my first time using The Gutter Doctor Plus to clean my gutters. I was in their waiting list, and I was told that they will give me a call to schedule a time and talk about the price when it is my turn. Yesterday, they came to my house to clean gutters without giving me a call. They spent about 10 minutes to cleaning gutters. Later, I found they did not clean downspouts at all. This morning, before calling them to inquire about downspouts, I got a phone call from them asking me to pay $300.00!!!! for their services without cleaning downspouts and showing me AN INVOICE OR ANY OTHER DOCUMENTATIONS. Now I realized that why they did not give me a call before coming to my house, because they knew I WON'T HIRE THEM if I knew how much I'd be charged.
