We used JN roofing and have been nothing but amazed and thankful for the work they have done. They have been able to send out a team with short notice to a leak in the roof and have it repaired the same day. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing their roof done!

JN Roofing helped me with no notice when I had a bad case of ice damming causing leaking into my house. They cleared the roof (which had knee deep snow and three or four inches of ice) in an hour. I can only imagine how much damage they prevented! Highly recommend them.

My husband and I would 100% recommend JN Roofing and Contracting to anyone who has storm damage to their roof and for roof installation. My husband and I would 100% recommend JN Roofing and Contracting to anyone who has storm damage to their roof and for roof installation. We experienced water coming in our home after a storm in August - after having a "roof specialist" come and inspect our roof from the insurance company, we contacted JN roofing for a second opinion. To start, Frank from JN roofing was so great to deal with - he came out to give an estimate and actually did a thorough roof inspection. Because he listened, we were able to actually find the source of the leak and he was quick to provide a quote and time frame to repair to ensure we had no further damage. He also provided specific recommendations to seal the roof until a crew could come out for a repair and installation of new shingles. We were lucky to have our installation date moved up and were so impressed with the process from start to finish. We live in a large bungalow - another home on our street took 3 days for a new roof with another company, ours was done in 1 day (9 hours to be specific) because they brought a big crew that worked so efficiently together. This was amazing because it didn't impact me working from home over many days. The guys were so professional and clean up was fantastic - they even covered over our garage doors and AC unit to prevent any damage that could occur from shingles coming off the roof. Jason was very familiar with our area and threw in 4 extra vents because the houses were not built with adequate venting. The one thing I did "complain" about was the cleaning up be a little more detailed. I went out before the crew left to double check that it was cleaned up a 100% because I have two littles that play on the deck I found about two handful of screws. He arranged to have two of his employees on-site within an hour of my call with full equipment and repaired the small hole where the shingles and dormer ridge vent met. Not only did JN Roofing do a terrific job initially, but they obviously stand behind their work. Their advertising slogan, "We give roofers a good name" most certainly fits. Received a few quotes from various companies and JN Roofing was about mid-range. Happy with the overall installation time and quality. I have an area where the fireplace exhaust comes out that is covered by bricking. We had water damage there in the past, and I asked how much to cover it with shingles to make sure it was sealed properly. I was told that it would be a few hundred bucks and received a final quote. I didn't see this as listed as part of the quote; however, I followed-up with the company and they confirmed it was part of the overall price. On the day they were installing the roof, I came home to check in on the process. I noticed they hadn't started the work around the fireplace exhaust, so I mentioned this to the owner. I went inside and could hear him explaining it to the crew and they started work on it. I then returned to work for the remainder of the day. When I came home that evening, I had to step out and they were about 95% done the work. I decided to give them the certified cheque in full which was a mistake. They removed the metal that was laying over top of the bricking by the fireplace exhaust and had left the brick exposed. I then received a message that it was going to cost more and wanted to know how I would like to move forward. I was not happy about this due to water issues in the basement in the past. I mentioned that I would like the area done ASAP as I had paid in full. Weeks passed with no resolution and they always seemed to be 'coming tomorrow'. I eventually expressed my frustration to the owner and we negotiated a cost for the remainder of work that needed to be completed, and I was refunded. I feel that if I didn't give them the certified cheque when I did, they would have been back the next morning to finish the work. On their website, they also advertise that people who refer their services will be rewarded. I had a friend refer me, I mentioned it, this person got nothing. They also say that you can put a sign on your lawn to receive a small credit for advertising their company, I said it was fine and to go ahead with it - they did not put up the sign or give me the credit. Overall, happy with the work, but the experience could have been a lot better. I feel like the company could have been more proactive in resolving the issues that came up. Less
