My experience was great. I am only 4 weeks post procedure & I have felt some relief, as well as, weight loss probably indicating shrinkage of the fibroids. Dr. Patel respected my wishes of taking as little medication as possible the day before, during, and after my procedure. The procedure room and office was clean and very well equipped for the procedure. The staff was very kind, informative, and supportive. There was a misunderstanding with the payment of the procedure due to the insurance company but office staff, Yanni, quickly took care of the matter. After the procedure Dr. Patel called me regularly to insure I was recovering as needed. The recovery was slow for me, my fibroids were the size of a 4 month pregnancy; but the procedure Worked! It's been 3 months since my procedure, sex is no longer painful and I can go for a day during my monthly cycle without changing my sanitary napkin.
