I recently had the pleasure of working with Roof it Right for my roof that was damaged back in March. My roof had lots of wind damage from a storm and I called Roof it Right for an inspection. I initially had two companies scheduled for inspections, but Mr. Roof never showed up or even called to say they weren't coming. Juan came and did the inspection and advised my home was pretty damaged and that I should be able to get it repaired or possibly even fully replaced. He came back to meet with my insurance inspector and pointed out all of the issues that he found. The insurance inspector claimed there was minimal damage and they offered me a very low amount to cover the repairs. Patty Irias was my contact with Roof it Right. She advised me that insurance companies will do this all the time and that they would help me fight to try to get a better settlement. I didn't realize how much of a fight it would be, as I had to go back and forth with them for literally 6 months. The insurance company kept trying to switch my insurance adjustors and each time they called me it was someone new trying to explain how my home wasn't very damaged. Luckily, I'm very persistent and continued to call and leave complaints. I left about five messages and they wouldn't return my calls. Thankfully, Patty continued to call and email them and say that they couldn't do repairs due to the shingles not matching the color on my home. Eventually, after a six month battle, the insurance company finally agreed to do a full replacement. Roof it Right quickly replaced the entire roof in just one day. They came back and finished everything up and cleaned up on the second day. They did an excellent job and I could not be happier with with my new roof. They even replaced the missing cover on one of my heater exhaust pipes! Thanks so much to Patty, Juan and everyone else who was involved in this project. After integration Mark rudely said that company didn’t want to take the time to send me a detailed estimate so I can get payment to pay them. Then told me have a nice day sarcastically. My whole experience was unorganized and unprofessional and I feel profiled for something I didn’t have intentions of doing. Your response is inconsistent with what we were told upon inspecting the installation of our windows. When the owner of the company visited the house to inspect the windows, he agreed that there was air coming through the side of windows due to incorrect installation (the gaps are very noticeable). Importantly, we are not discussing whether the windows are higher-end or how expensive they are (even though it was your company's recommendation to install the ones we have). The issue we are experiencing stems from incorrect installation by your company. To state facts correctly, upon our complain your company sent a technician to try to fix the problem since you agreed there was a problem. However, that technician failed to correct the problem. A year later (and after many many phone calls), you sent a second technician who stated that while there was a problem, he did not have the training/qualifications to do it. It is our believe that our expectations are within what any household would have. It should be safe to expect that after installing new "energy efficient" windows, the electricity and gas bill would be lower or at least the same as what the bill historically was. To our surprise, our bill was significantly higher (and continues to be) since there is air coming through the side due to incorrect fitting of the windows. We can provide solid evidence to back that fact. We will refrain to focus on the main issue, which is the incorrect installation of our windows and this company's inability to perform and guarantee a quality job. He said he would have an e-mail to us that evening with his estimate. Sure enough we got it that night. The estimate felt very decent considering the work that needed to be done. We had a choice to make concerning the type of shingles we wanted so the cost was adjusted accordingly. Between the weather and previous commitments the earliest he could fit us in was three weeks away. After a week he called to tell us that the weather had been cooperating and he could actually start a week early. We were delighted as we had experienced the beginnings of a leak and were anxious to get that new roof put on. He showed up at 7 first thing Monday morning, got everything set up and his crew was all there by 8. They worked till late afternoon, cleaned up, and were back the next two days d*** the same only staying almost until dusk. Throughout the few days they were here Sergey would always let us know how things were going at the end of the day and throughout if needed. The fourth day he came alone to finish up for a few hours. Afterwards he gave us a thorough review on all they had done. We were very happy to have found Sergey. He and his crew did an exceptional job, and much of it during some very cold weather. He was at all times polite, professional, prompt and conscientious. He worked alongside his crew the entire time they were here, in fact often arriving before them and leaving after they'd gone. They also did a wonderful job cleaning up. We are so pleased with his work that we hope to have them back in the not too distant future to do extensive work on a large detached garage. Less
