The director Dominic is very passionate and enthusiastic to work with all the teachers, to ensure the kids learning and having fun. The schedule to drop off and pick up your child there is flexible. Everything about this school is awesome! The teachers are amazing. My kids are going there for a few years now and we are happy with the school. For students’ safety, she went there multiple times and communicated with the elementary school principal to work out a safest procedure for afterschool picking up. This really touched me. Every year after the star bench mark tests, Jennifer talks to parents individually and advises on how to help their kids to improve. As new schooler parents, I learned a lot from her. She is my mentor. The teachers are fantastic, too. My son’s favorite teachers are Mr. Rick and Mrs. Leah. He says they are strict but really fun. They have great education experience and credentials. The director Mr. Dominic is very supportive and easy to communicate. He cares our parents needs always. School drivers are responsible too. Their programs are academic based. The basic curriculum includes math, English and language, reading and writing, and help on school homework. Every week they send home with kids 3 corrected packets in math, English and language, so that you know how your kids are doing on their studies. Yangfan’s math and reading are accelerated beyond the public school for about 1 year. My son just starts his 4th grade but have reached the level of 6th grade in Star math and reading. Yangfan also provides enrichment classes in STEM, art and sport. Their summer camps are fun. My kids tried several other summer camps. They love Yangfan’s the best. We have registered our children to attend Yang Fan's remote learning classes for the past year and we are very happy with the overall quality. It was truly the best decision we could have made for our kids during the pandemic. In the beginning, we were very skeptical about after-school remote learning classes, especially for our preschooler, but we had to keep him occupied anyways so we gave it a try. To our surprise, he has learned way more than we would have ever expected! We think the difference is that Yang Fan's teachers are hand picked and certainly qualified to teach both in-person and remotely. Well organized classroom materials get uploaded ahead of time and the the zoom meetings are monitored to ensure that if there is any technical difficulty, it gets resolved right away. The teachers all know the kids by name since the student to teacher ratio is controlled just right, and you get the feeling that they truly care about the progress of each student! We have tried a few other online classes, but Yangfan's remote learning classes definitely ranked the highest. It just shows how well the program is being managed. During these challenging times, Yang Fan's remote learning program gave us something that we could count on for our kids, and it provided that sense of continuity during a year of uncertainty. Wonderful after school academy and summer camp . My kids loved it here and learned a lot . Great curriculum .Kudos to Dominic and all the staff for successfully running it .

During COVID19, Yang Fan offers online classes and upcoming 2020 summer camp. Well designed curriculum and class selection. Good teachers! A big help for parents :) PS: My kids miss going to Yang Fan!

People's standards have well dropped since 2005

I really like it because during the summer camp, you can go to the movies and go on field trips every Friday. They also helped me get into seventh grade math at school!

Well run daycare. My daughter has been going here for last two years. They help with school homework, gives challenging and exciting assignments to kids based on their skill sets. Kudos to Dominic and team for running the place in a professional way!

I highly recommend YF if you are new to Pleasanton area and looking for a well-established after school program. They have great academic packets to all levels and pretty good foreign languages classes. Teachers and staff are friendly and caring. They have interesting summer camp too.

Yang Fan is no good. It's terrible. They overwork the kids. If they have a project due in two days, they have to do it tomorrow, not today. Also, when it's line up time, yang fan people yell line up. They expect many paged packets to be done by the end of the week! There are about twenty pages to do. If you are absent two days from Monday through Thursday, they say you have to finish the packet. ... More
