Highly recommend. I went to Dr. Paulk for chest and back pain. He's adjusted my spine, ribs, and connections between ribs and sternum to give me full range of motion, better posture and significantly reducing the actual pain I was experiencing. He's used a massaging technique to reduce the inflammation in the muscles and tendons to make sure the adjustments are successful. For two and half years, I've had pain in my chest that felt like I was having a heart attack every single day. There were times where my entire left side of my upper body seized up with excruciating pain. It was caused by advice I received from doctors and nurses after a lung surgery that led me to favor one side which threw my entire upper skeletal and muscular systems out of alignment and put significant stress on those systems which, along with nerve damage from the surgery, combined to create some truly spectacular pain. Since seeing Dr. Paulk and having undergone his treatment for four weeks now, the pain has been reduced significantly (by 75% or more) while the range of movement has increased dramatically and there is little to no pain while moving. Even my family has noticed and commented on the significant improvement in my posture, pain and even happiness as a result of not being in constant pain. Before the treatment, he explained exactly what he was going to do, how he was going to do it, and the purpose for his treatment (i.e. how it was going to reduce the pain or increase the range of motion). From scheduling my first initial appointment to arriving at my appointment it was more than a pleasant experience. So if you’re still reading, then buckle up and let me take you on a journey as to why I give NAS 5 stars. I have never in my life been to a chiropractor until about a month ago when I came here. Martha, at the front desk, is the most smiley, beyond precious, kind, soft spoken receptionist I have ever met and I mean that. It is always extremely nice to be greeted every appointment by a smiling face. Martha is one of many reasons this office is so wonderful. I originally saw Dr. Alley who is super sweet, really friendly and bubbly with a contagious smile. Dr. Alley really showed concern for the pain I was experiencing. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable for my first visit and at every visit I have had with her. Unfortunately, my schedule did not exactly line up with the days Dr. Alley was in office so I had to resort to seeing Dr. Alex for the majority of my appointments. Now don’t let that last sentence come off as a red flag because Dr. Alex is equally as great! It must be something in the air at this office because Dr. Alex always has a smile on his face as well and his bedside manner is an A+. I always feel as if I bombard Dr. Alex with my concerns, complaints and input at each adjustment. With that being said, Dr. Alex always takes the extra time to listen to what I have to say and he does not make me feel as if I am wasting his time or taking up to much time!
