Great sensei's that are very supportive and care about individual progression and earning your belt. I've been a member for 2 months and go weekly and feel much more confident of my skills. Small classes thus far just means I get more attention to details. The classes at occasionally the same but there is a good variety of skills.
We recommend KDK fit our son can’t wait to go to class everyday. All the instructors are friendly and do great with all the kids. They make you feel like family. We are very thankful we found this place for our son he is very focused and has learned so much in a small amount of time. We recommend that your child will love it as well.
My son loves karate and we love it here. Everyone has welcomed us and we could not be happier with KDK Fit. Friendly and very knowledgeable instructors. They are very caring about every child. If you are looking for a place for your child to grow and learn look no father.
My son joined about 3 months ago we put him in so he can be disciplined, learn to protect himself, learn to control his anger, learn to be more polite, and the school is a good school, they treat the kids like family. I recommend it 🤗

Since the pandemic began, we had to pull our son out of a Tae Kwon Do class. We were invited to try a couple classes out virtually with KDK, which was a huge plus, considering we live in California. Our son was able to follow along easily with the instructors. We signed up and they sent us his Gi set, along with a framed dojo creed to put up. We highly recommend KDK Fit for your virtual fitness needs, especially their Friday evening kickboxing and Saturday morning yoga sessions. It’s basically tailored for your whole family’s different fitness needs. Less
We absolutely love KDK Fit! My son is thriving in the karate program and benefitting greatly from the leadership and guidance of his sensei’s. The one-on-one attention he receives has really helped him excel in learning news skills and advance to higher belt rankings. I would highly recommend KDK Fit!!

I was looking for an activity my daughter and I could do together, her almost reaching teenage years. That’s when I came across KDK Fit. I at first only had my daughter in it but the first session was so intriguing and the instructor was so welcoming and nice that I decided to join as well. It has not disappointed one bit. They offer many different types of self defense and philosophy. They put together a powerful women’s self defense seminar that blew me away with the guest speakers. It was not what I was expecting at all, with personal stories of survivors who went through so much that they had to learn self defense. It really taught not just the physical side of defense but the emotional and legal side. Took me to another level! So if you are looking to learn something new in self self defense no matter your age or ability they will work to fit your fitness needs. I’m so glad to have found this place and definitely recommend! Less
From day 1 of our free lesson, we were welcomed and very happy that we joined this dojo. My 10-yr old enjoys going to classes and comes home happy and more confident each time. We love their flexible schedule and their attitude towards kids. Instructors respect the kids and take their time to teach them new skills every day. My only regret is that we didn’t sign up earlier. Thank you KDK Fit!!
My daughter Berthanie is 6 year and she has been in KDK Fit for alittle more than a month now and she loves this place. Highly recommend this place for all kids and adults of all ages. I learned a lot from Shihan and Sensei Loc in this dojo in the short time I was there. I felt respected and challenged as the only woman in the practice. It gave me knowledge, confidence, and friendship. And it challenged me to think in new ways. I'm pregnant now and thanks to Karate Do Kan I very much want my child to train in martial arts, and I'd certainly like to continue one day as well.
I brought my 8 year old son to a free trial class on a Saturday for something to do that was out of the ordinary for us. He learned a lot and really enjoyed it so we made it part of our routine. That was around two years ago. It has had a huge impact on my son in terms of confidence, self esteem, focus and leadership attributes; plus it is quite a workout! There is a big emphasis on teaching and leadership skills as well as learning and following instructions. The teaching style is right in line with my son’s unique learning style. My son has had a tumultuous couple of years at school (in terms of behavior and social adjustment) and his participation and membership at this Dojo has been a hugely stabilizing influence in his life and immeasurably beneficial to his social, mental and physical development! Highly recommended! Less
My son has been a member for years and we love it here. Kas is a master at his Kraft and helps foster positive growth in others.

It's rare that you find a martial arts studio with this kind of knowledge and wisdom! They teach kids starting at 6 years old. There are kids that are now 10 to 12 years old who are middle to advanced level belts The instructors are very patient and will take the time to make sure the kids are doing the techniques and movements correctly. They teach how to get out of wrist grabs, bear hugs, chokes, defend against a weapon, have a Jiu -Jitsu class, and a fitness class too. ( I think they will be starting cardio kickboxing ) Not only do you get to learn techniques and benefit physically from the training, but mentally and spiritually as they have a Leadership class discussion on Saturdays. The place is clean and has some original Japanese decor since the founder Kaz Kusube is from Japan. The membership cost is reasonable and if you are a Veteran, Active Duty, or First Responder, they will give you a discount. This place is not a franchise and they don't participate in tournaments as that is what alot of martial arts places focus on. I've shopped around and looked at other martial arts places and this one by far is the best that I found in the area. So ladies and gents....if you are wanting to learn self defense, I highly recommend Karate Do Kan. Less
All of the instructors have tremendous backgrounds that cater to all ages, styles, and levels of experience. They concentrate on whatever it is that you want to work on whether it is mind, body, or soul. Wide range of offerings from tai chi, weapons, self defense, or martial arts. A bunch of friendly, caring people.

He established Karate Do Kan in 1977. He offers more than just learning kicks and punches which most people think of when they here "Karate". His martial arts program includes learning forms, various defense techniques against attacks, defense techniques against gun, knife, wrist grabs, chokes, bear hugs, and more. In addition to all that....he also offers JiuJitsu if you want to expand your defense skills You will also learn meditation, breathing techniques for focus and relieving stress, and on Saturday's, there is a sit down group discussion of readings from books he recommends to understand how martial arts applies to life. His martial arts program is very well-rounded and the people there are friendly and welcoming. The instructors will care about the well-being of the students and will take the time to help a student when the student asks questions or they will take it upon themselves to work with a student if they see a student is not doing a technique correctly. They will motivate and challenge you always in an encouraging way to do your best mentally and physically. If you or any of your family members are considering taking up martial arts, I highly recommend this Dojo!! Less
