He and his crew were terrific. They got to work drying out my basement the next morning. They hauled out all the soggy cardboard boxes and the items that were too water-damaged to keep. He went back and forth with State Farm(who also was pretty terrible about handling this at the beginning, but has been much better since I got the right adjuster), but Ken never gave them what they were looking for. One day Ken told me he would call me back...I never heard from him again. Meanwhile I have a giant hole in my kitchen. I then called Jim, who said he would get to the bottom of it and call my back...Jim has never called back, even to this day. Pride cleaning made sure that we were taken care of while ensuring the plumber's insurance company was not going to take advantage of us. Shortly after our battles with the insurance company, covid-19 happened which really slowed things down. Fortunately Pride continued to work with us to keep the ball rolling. They made sure to cater to our needs as a young family like keeping running water, a place to lay our heads at night, and leaving space for our toddler to play. The crew packed items, moved furniture, removed plaster, carpet, wood framing and any damaged items. They sealed the room off and used a dehumidifier. A horrible experience: inexperienced and unprofessional staff eager enter your home without providing documents of cost. proceeded to conduct demolish, removal of anything that would increase billing without permission. Beware continuous discussion of work that insurance will pay. Staff failed to have simple essentialls such as hose. Boots, Shoe covering.

Imagine waking up to 4 to 5 inches of water in your basement knowing you have two sump pumps that should have taken care of any water accumulation. Because of the need for immediate help, I sought help with through my insurance company. All their usual registered remediation companies were unable to respond. I called several restoration companies and was unable to get help. In the end, because of numerous other home floods, only one company said they would respond, one of 7 I called. I found Pride Cleaning and Restoration, Inc through a Business Network International {BNI} referral partner. Even though they were swamped with calls and dispatching teams for other customers, the owner personally took my call and gave me a 90 minute at my location response (Pride is located in South St. Louis and I live north of Edwardsville Il {a 45 mile distance} As it turned out I had a double sump pump failure. Pride was fantastic. Even though I had sump pump insurance coverage, the insurer only guaranteed a 72 hour response. Talk about a failure in an emergency, I fired that insurance company but was stuck with no sump pump working and no plumber that I could get to respond to my rural location. Pride guaranteed new pump installation and went to work. I am fortunate to know one person that had a similar situation that only Pride Cleaning and Restoration would respond to. Now I only need to know I have the right company to call the first time in an emergency to get the help I need when I need it. Less

Buyers beware! Pride Restoration subcontracted my company to do a huge mold and water loss in September and has refused to pay for the work performed. This has forced us to take legal action while placing a lien on an innocent homeowner.

We had a water pipe break and our insurance agent called Pride. They came quickly, stayed until the job was done and came back to monitor the final stages of clean up. It was a bad experience (the water pipe bursting) but Pride was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and understanding. I hope we never have another emergency, but if I do, Pride has earned my business!
