I've been going to Restoration Spinal Care for years after a bad whiplash (my car was rear-ended). During the year and a half that I've been a patient at Restoration Spinal Care, I've been needing adjustments about a third as often as I had for the previous three to four years before that, and my symptoms have continued to decrease notably during this time. My general health has improved steadily. Headache frequency has decreased from at least one a week to maybe one every few months, and the intensity has become noticeably less. Hip pain used to be extreme enough to keep me from short walks just down the block when it was flaring up. It has decreased to almost never now, and doesn't keep me from either walks or hikes. I had been gradually decreasing my swimming amount and times during the summer for the last ten years or so, due to chronic and increasing shoulder pain, and just figured that was something I should accept as a part of getting older. I had decided to be grateful that I could swim at all still, for the ten to fifteen minutes at a time that the shoulder was still letting me. This summer, when I swim, about once a week, it has been surprising to notice that the shoulder isn't limiting me. Twenty to twenty five minutes at a time is no problem, and pain doesn't stop me. I suffer from periodic migraines and have found Dr. Sherwood helps to minimize my symptoms with the NUCCA technique.
