The members were so welcoming, and the coaching was fantastic. Coach Blythe (who is also the owner) was very helpful, and took time to make sure form was correct, and the body was warm before doing the workout. Since then, Blythe has been beyond helpful and amazing to not only myself but my wife too. She has helped us both lean up, gain confidence and improve our CF ability. The gym is not the biggest, but there are plenty of classes so you always feel welcomed, and never too crowded. Our family is so addicted to this gym, the people and the professionalism, so glad we found this little gem in Pflugerville. We are blessed to have crossed paths with Blythe and the 3-Strand family. If you want a family atmosphere, great instruction, and motivation, 3-Strands is right for you. Less
I am SO so SO grateful to have found this gym. Programming and coaching are excellent. The owner treats everyone like an extension of her family. If you want to be in the best shape of your life and know that you are a priority, please don’t hesitate to try this gym out. Home away from home In so many ways ❤️
I was brand new to the area when I found CF3S and was hooked from the first class. Amazing coaches and a great community.

I am writing this because though I think this place has had good intentions and want to support a divorced single mom owner, I feel honesty needs to be shed on the environment realistically for doing a workout and not just being nice because so many are just friends with said mom. This gym is discrimanatory against victims and is a small space without room realistically for more than about 5 people at a time. Even without COVID. For example, there are only 4 barbell rigs and only eight 15 and 25lb plates. Unchristian in their practice, they go against their beliefs to attack ones not with personal ties to the gym owner. IF you don't vibe directly with them, you're rejected. It is a gym made up of a lot of gossiping and socializing amongst core members rather than people focused on working out. Because it is mostly people over 40 at this gym, there is little competition as so many don't do workouts at full RX or close to prescribed and instead heavily scale, but then measure themselves in wodify as if they did just as well as the 3 or 4 who do try (if they measure themselves at all). And similarly, because said people want to just focus on weights and not much on Cardio, Blythe, the owner, will mostly only write workouts that do weight and don't build up endurance. Even when she does try to write it in, if members complain during class, she'll scale any endurance completely out. Truly, in the end, not a place to do crossfit. Less
This is a good group of people with a nice setup. It's very small for a crossfit gym, but Blyth makes it work. I think they are very respectful and encouraging people, but they don't really have enough equipment or weights for more than a few people. I like what this box stands for and how they operate.
Amazing! Love the community feel. Helpful coaches.
Great place for kid and teens to do cross fit work out the coach is amazing and my daughter who is 11 loves her
Spot on. "Great work!" (as the coaches will say loud and proud) *note* I do have a friend who is a coach here but I judge this on my experience, the programs, and the atmosphere (especially compared to other options in the area) I have recently moved to this area, from another area of Round Rock, and Crossfit 3 Strands happened to be nearby and also have a coach and friend that I have known fo... Spot on. "Great work!" (as the coaches will say loud and proud) *note* I do have a friend who is a coach here but I judge this on my experience, the programs, and the atmosphere (especially compared to other options in the area) I have recently moved to this area, from another area of Round Rock, and Crossfit 3 Strands happened to be nearby and also have a coach and friend that I have known for years; Phyllis (psst she's amazing...just saying). The team here was VERY welcoming. First I am a disabled veteran. I am limited in some things I can do and when I can do them. The coaches here work with YOU and integrate YOU into the program. I am not trying to be a "hulk" and simply want to improve my fitness, mobility, and be active. Here they can help you in whatever level you want to attain since they are certified in Athletic performers down to simple fitness. Here they were able to provide me a multitude of options, while working in my limits, for many of the exercises while keeping me physically engaged and not awkwardly ostracized. That was a nice relief from other "gyms"&"fitness centers" etc. as I have tried a few, but the convenience of being here locally worked out great. This location has monthly free sessions and family sessions so everyone can get involved. Check out their site for details. They also provide discounts to first responders and military veterans. Overall, if you are new or old and simply interested in what they can help you with here; consider checking them out. The workouts are simple, within YOUR ability, and time efficient to get you results. Give them a view and a try as I do not think you will be disappointed. Less
