So out of fear I took them for 7 years until I lost all hope. I was being bankrupted from the pills and went to two more different doctors that went off the original doctors diagnosis and kept feeding me more and more pills. Nine different medications made me gain 50% of my body weight, with A1C at diabetes levels. My wife found MySelf Wellness and Dr. Ferber and after what I thought was 45 minutes (actually 3 hours), Dr. Ferber explains Complex PTSD. No one ever mentioned PTSD to me or my wife before and I was prescribed 6 treatments. I thought Ketamine was a club drug until I researched and saw it’s been used on the battlefield for soldiers since the Gulf War. I had nothing to lose since I was driving around looking for the sturdiest tree to drive my car into, so I went in for the first treatment. Words can’t describe what it did; it reconnected the parts of my brain that have been shut down since childhood. I learned to forgive and be forgiven. I never believed in God before but after my treatment I know there is something, not sure what it is, but this isn’t random. If it was I wouldn’t be here to tell you my story. My last treatment, I was being told by my younger self that I’m worthy of love and that everyone is good inside and it’s situational circumstances that put people where they are. I've only had one other migraine since then and this was resulting from a second car accident. I have returned for additional sessions to try and help with my PTSD and insomnia. So far great. Their nurse and psychiatrist are kind and caring people, but the owners were less than warm or accommodating to me once I had these issues. It is almost as if once they got money from me they didn't care about me any more. If they stand by their treatments and are truly wanting to help people like they say, they wouldn't keep my money for the 4 remaining treatments I cannot take. They said I could use it for their other services but between the attitude I've gotten from the owners and lack of compassion and concern for me as a person, I don't feel comfortable getting any treatments of any sort at this facility.
