I have been using Corky's for at least 8 years at my school for homecoming, other dances and now prom and have never had anything, but a wonderful experience! So much so that I still have alumni students asking me to let them know when I will be ordering the BBQ wings!

They worked with us (well, with our wedding planner) to craft an excellent catering package that fit well with our budget. The day of, the staff and service they provided were excellent and the food was phenomenal. Unfortunately, the entire process wasnt without hiccups and some stress. I am still giving 5 stars because this doesnt relate to Corky's specifically but a different vendor they used to supply additonal tables and seating for the reception venue. Top Notch rentals, between dropping off on Friday and picking up on Monday (the wedding was Saturday), had a cumulative 5.5 hours of being late relative to the delivery/pick up windows they confirmed the day before or day of. Also, pretty rough sevice overall while the drivers were dropping off. Drew, who picked the rentals up on Monday, was friendly though. Once again, this isn't specific to Corky's and they didnt have full control over the situation. Christina and Bethany (i think) from Corky's helped us greatly with the whole debacle and were very nice and professional about it. I'd suggest whoever manages vendor deals for Corky's to stear clear of Top Notch, or at least not use them for Chicago events in the city proper as I dont think they have very good time estimation when operating in the city. I work at Target and they got food from Corky’s for the employees for Black Friday. Flavor wise, very decent. Our HR team ordered baked ziti which was unfortunately very overcooked and mushy.

The food was absolutely incredible. We had salmon, New York strips, vegetable lasagna, roasted vegetables, tri color potatoes. It was all marvelous! Late night bite snacks, kids menu... Plus their staffing was skilled, very friendly and attentive. We cannot recommend their work enough!! We can not stop remembering about the awesome day and big part of the reason is because we chose their service. SEVERAL guests feedback saying that was the best wedding they had ever been! On saturday July 13 at 8:30 am we witnessed two Corkys catering trucks driving very carelessly down interstate 294 north. We tried to contact rhe office, but had no luck. They appeared to be together but rather than following eachother they were racing.

She was very slow to respond to simple questions and gave me lots of misinformation...one example was the number of people per table ( the night before the wedding I had to redo the place cards and seating chart once I finally got an accurate answer on this, which was when the tables and chairs where at the house! ) She was also disorganized when it came down to giving me any sort of time that staff members would arrive for set up. The rental company they use for tents and chairs are total clowns. They have no clue what they are doing...showed up hours late...never communicated...argued that a tent wouldn’t fit in a space they themselves pre-measured for (it did by the way)...and then backed their box truck into the side of the house...ignoring the screams to stop. The day of the wedding the bartender assured me she knew not to open any bottles of wine or alcohol that she didn’t need since we would be able to return the excess. Well apparently she changed her mind...lost a few hundred dollars worth of alcohol that she opened for no reason...had to throw away a ton of wine and ended up with a lots of beer and some hard alcohol I should have been able to return but couldn’t. Then at the end of the night it seems the staff threw away our custom made cake topper...it had our names on it...not sure why they would do that? And they took with them items that belonged to the homeowner. When I questioned Samantha about this she said she would look into this and get back to me. But surprise surprise...I’ve never heard back from her. So no I don’t recommend Corky’s Catering. If you’re planning a wedding or large event I think you can do much better. Less

From my initial contact her she has provided great follow through.Her knowledge of the choice of Venue has made the transaction run smooth. We had Corky's cater our wedding. The food was pretty good and the price was pretty good and the staff was helpful. On the whole it was good value, though it was a little more expensive than we would have liked and they served us the wrong salad (we had two choices of salad and we picked one of them and they served the other at our wedding)

I'm a big fan of Corky's and their Corks brand. They continuously help to make our events a great success. The food is delicious and very, very affordable. I just love their staff who are always very professional and courteous.

I had Corky's cater my brunch wedding reception. The food was great, and I have no complaints about that. However, the organization was not great. My husband and my mother had to correct the staff because they were setting up the tables and table numbers incorrectly. This was disappointing because we had spoken with Christina over the phone and via email to discuss our floor plan. The groom and the MOB shouldn't have had to supervise a group of professional caterers who already had a floor plan with them. The only other issue was they served the mimosas at the wrong time. We wanted them for the toast, but they served them earlier and then we had nothing to toast with! Yikes! Overall, I would've spent more money to go with a higher end catering service just so I wouldn't have to worry about little details in the setup. That should've been the least of my worries on my wedding day. Less

Yum-o! I ordered catering for a family party. When you're dealing with a company you've never had to deal with before you just cross your fingers and hope the food is good. Well, I must say everyone enjoyed the delicious food. Tasty, great food for catering. Very pleasantly surprised. My only downside is that they give you a 2 hour window and they can arrive anytime between that window. So i told my guests to arrive at the beginning of the window but the food came 2 hours later. I certainly don't think that worth removing star or native review because everything was explained and communicated properly. And ultimately the food was great. Very happy! Less

Corky's Catering was recommended to me by someone with a lot of experiencing working with caterers. She said the menus offered a broad selection of food, ranging from hot dog and hamburger picnics to elegant events, small or large, at extremely competitive prices. My husband and I volunteered to provide for catering a post-funeral repast to a financially strapped family who had just lost a beloved one. We were looking for good prices and a menu appealing to people who enjoy down-home-cooking. We let one of the family members choose the menu suited to such tastes; she selected the "Country Comforts Buffet", which consisted of fried chicken, BBQ rib tips, baked mac n' cheese, southern-style green beans, and rolls and butter. The price was very good at $8.99 per person. I also purchased a large dessert tray that included a variety of fresh-baked cookies, pecan fudge brownies, lemon bars and raspberry bars, with 70 items altogether, a soda beverage and bottled water service and a coffee service. Originally, we planned to set it all up ourselves with the help of volunteers, but when we became unsure of getting volunteers, we decided to add two attendants to set up, aid in serving and cleaning up at a cost of $208 for two hours. This turned out to be the smartest thing I did all day, after selecting the caterer. We were anxious about everything going smoothly, on top of the ordinary stress of the situation, but our minds were soon put at ease when the first attendant, transporting all of the food and supplies arrived early and was cheerful about waiting 20 minutes for all the mourners to depart for the cemetery. Her car was packed full of boxes of food and equipment for the buffet and we helped her carry everything in and to the lower level of the church where the repast was held. Terri, the attendant, was very pleasant and respectful of the occasion and she went to work immediately, setting up the buffet. At this time, the second attendant, a very nice young man, arrived and helped Terri set up everything. There was a lot to do but they worked quickly and efficiently to prepare an appealing buffet that was set up in an in plenty of time to greet the mourners returning from the cemetery. They didn't complain at all having to wait for everyone. Guests lined up to help themselves to food and beverages, which obviously appealed to everyone. It was self-serve but Terri and her co-worker were on hand to assist diners. We each had a plate of food, with a selection of things, and it was all delicious and fresh. People clearly were enjoying the food; many returned for second helpings and some asked us who the caterers were. The bereaved family told us they loved the food and thanked us sincerely for providing the repast. There wasn't much leftover, but Terri and her co-worker packaged up what there was for the family to take home, and they were touched and grateful. Our experience with Corky's was excellent, and I recommend them without reservation. Working with them relieved us of much of the stress of a difficult occasion. Less

I ordered here for a party I was having, I had the food delivered to my house and it was excellent. Everyone enjoyed the food and kept saying how good it was. I will definitely be ordering from here again for my next party!!
