Best dentist I have ever had, been coming here for some time now as a result of past trauma from a single incident. It resulted in me needing patience and understanding as my anxiety would get the better of me hearing and feeling the drills and equipment, to the point of needing sedation for procedures that most people wouldn’t ever be bothered over. The entire staff have been incredible, caring and patient. What most impressed me when I first came here was being told that the treatment plans were designed to be the “best” for me and what I needed. Not the cheapest. Even then I was given every option available and the pros and cons for all. 5 stars is simply not enough. My son and I were running a little late for our appointment due to rain and traffic. Then we hit some type of police incident that took a while. Anyway we were 30 minutes late so my son took my appointment and I was going to reschedule. Tina who is usually very nice came out to get him and said something about x-rays and I told her not today. She then informed me rather rudely that the exam would be incomplete. I said ok. Was she upset that we were late?? A few minutes later she came out with a form for me to sign regarding the X-rays. Very rude again. When my son was finished she came out and informed me that Dr. Kandare said he has to get x-rays next time. I said I guess we need to find another dentist. She didn’t care one bit how I felt. I have talked to Dr. Kandare a few times about x-rays. I don’t believe in them, don’t want the radiation and don’t want to pay for them. One time they did a panoramic view and it didn’t turn out and did another one on my son. They forget I pay part of their salaries. I can get treated that way for free, I certainly don’t want to pay for it. They just lost four patients, but they don’t care. This is the customer service we live with today. In response to their reply….it should be the customer that decides what they want and what they pay for. My responsibility for myself and my son. I am 60 years old and have had two cavities in my life. My previous dentist didn’t push X-rays. He could find a cavity without one. X-rays are a money maker for the dentist. Less

The staff was really nice and helpful. My biggest issue was the tech that did my xrays kept touching everything in the office and then putting his fingers in my mouth. Like he touched the door knob, went in another room to grab supplies, opened drawers and everything else. I have extremely high anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. Yesterday I had two extractions and the team did absolutely amazing. Because of some of my health issues I was only about to do a mild sedative which as first was terrifying. Dr Kandare explained everything to me and how the process was going to work. When I got there and got into the room I was covered with a warm blanket (that I got to keep and slept with when I got home) and a heating pad was placed on my hand for most comfort for the IV. I was awake but out of it. I did feel some pressure but the Nurse Amy held my hand the entire time and kept talking to me with a sweet and comforting voice. The gentleman that took me to my car in a wheelchair was so careful and kind and patient when I was slow to stand. If I could give Dr. Kandare 10 stars I would. I have SEVERE dental anxiety, panic attack level due to pain intolerance and the sounds of the drill. I had to get a filling done here, after going to my normal dentist and them having to stop halfway through the filing due to not being able to get numb enough and therefore causing a panic attack. Made an appt for 10:00 and was asked to arrive 15 minutes earlier. Arrived in the parking lot and was asked to fill out paperwork. Girl said she would be back out to get papers. 15 minutes later I had to call and ask when someone would be out. I told them I didn’t want to sit inside and asked how long it would be before. Honestly surprised that this office still has such high reviews. Established myself as a patient at this office last Spring and I needed a lot of work done. Last month, after being in the most excruciating pain I’ve ever been in, I was told by Dr. Kandare that the tooth I knew was hurting me was not the problem, that it was the one behind it, and that I needed to have it extracted or have a root canal. I made an appt for the root canal but something in my gut told me something was wrong so I went to an emergency appt at another office and I am so glad that I did. I almost allowed Dr. Kandare to perform a root canal on a healthy tooth. In fact, the tooth that was the issue was very infected and was a tooth that Dr. Kandare put a crown on. It had been way too long since I’d had the first root canal, which is my fault, but he placed a crown over a tooth that was severely infected. I will never go to this office again. I am now having to pay more and more money to have the poor quality fillings put in by Dr. Kandare fixed, and have my root canal retreated. This office takes you for every penny you’re worth (they wanted to charge me $2500 for a root canal, and I ended up paying $1310 at a specialist’s office). Not to mention the fact that they were constantly badgering me to allow them to whiten my teeth. Stay away from here! Less

They are awesome with kids. I took my son today who is almost three (and my 1 year old daughter tagged along), and they do an amazing job greeting us and coached him through his cleaning. I had what you may describe as the perfect dental visit today. Even as a dentist we still need personal dental care. I started my visit with Tina for my routine cleaning. Tina is absolutely the best. She is just so thorough, gentle, and caring. She knows what she is doing. I then had lunch with the staff, Danielle, Jasmin, Vicky, Jessica, and Tina. I know I am biased but they are such a wonderful staff on a professional as well as a personal basis. I then had an appointment for a restoration with Dr Kandare and Jessica as his assistant. Dr Kandare's anesthetic techniques are the best. I had an anterior restoration placed. I almost fell asleep during the procedure. I then had to look twice to see the restoration it blended so well. I drive almost an hour one way, that's how much I admire the staff and doctors here. I have major anxiety when it comes to dental work, even dental cleanings. The staff here ate extremely patient and understanding. Dr. Simmons did a lot of major work on my mouth after not going to the dentist in years, which due to my anxiety required full IV sedation! But he was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. So I was extremely sad to hear he was step backing and adding someone new. I visited Dr. Kandare and his amazing team for a root canal. My previous dentist along with and endodontist could not get my crazy nerve to numb and said I would to be sedated. It had been a while since my last visit to the dentist and I was filled with dread, but I ended up looking forward to my next appointment! Jasmine, the technician who worked with me was very patient, calm, and explained everything she was doing as she took various x-rays, etc. She was friendly and compassionate, allaying my fears and taking time to listen to me. She was efficient and seemed to have made Dr. Simmons aware of what my issues were. She even gave me a hug when I was leaving. How often can you say a medical professional does that? In addition, Dr. Simmons took away the negative feeling I had long held about dentists. He was the gentlest, most attentive dentist I have ever met. If I had been apprehensive about having a procedure done, he took it all away. He had a gentle, easy demeanor and stressed several times during our consultation that making me comfortable and making sure I was okay during a procedure was the most important thing. Dr. Simmons office is AMAZING! From the front office, to the nurse, to Dr. Simmons himself, to post.. billing and follow up.. all wonderful!. It was the best experience I've ever had with a dental office and I now am sporting a gorgeous smile that I am complimented on several times a DAY! I've been going to Dr. Simmons for a few years. This is the best dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Simmons is kind, caring and knows his patients. You are not just another patient, he gets to you and gives you the individual attention you deserve. Most importantly he treats his patients with respect and is not condescending if you have dental concerns. My hygienists, Christie, is fabulous. She is friendly, gentle and takes exceptional care of her patients. She takes her time with you and gives you a great experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Simmons's office office. Less
