This office has the most disgusting woman in Medical Records. She speaks to you very rudely and refused to be helpful. She said her name is Anastasia, but I'm sure she gave a fake name. Unprofessional, all she does is sit at her computer when you're in her care and type nonsense. She never looked at my purple folder (file) to see it was missing information until I was sitting in front of her. 3 weeks after fluid was drawn. She does not follow up with her patients and acts like a teenager. "ya know" This is a poor reflection on her and Long Island Regional Arthritis & Osteoporosis care, for trusting their patients' specimens with careless labs that have no record of your tests and then they assume no responsibility what so ever. I've been a patient with this office for the past 3 1/2 - 4 years, and I've had nothing but aggravation dealing with them, since Dr. Dissick left. Upon her leaving I made 3 office visits for infusions and not once did I see a fill in physician, nor did I receive a script for blood work for anyone to look at. As anyone know's who is dealing with RA, monitoring blood work is critical. Finally a new doctor, aside from an assistant taking the usual blood pressure, weight and measurement, this new physician never examined me, not once. She only asks me how I'm feeling and if I need refills. The part that gets me most is the simplest. I submitted as I 've done in the past FMLA papers which they refuse to put in the mail to me before I pay for there service of them filling them out. It's not about the money. However, they refused to send them unless I paid first. I explain I work in Manhattan and get home late when they are closed. I asked if they can simply wait until my next visit (which I have to take a day off for) and they simply said, "No". I relied I'm not taking a day off simply to give you a copay and pick up papers, what's the big deal for me to pay when I come next? Again, the answer was NO!. That's when I advised them that I am leaving them to see another physician (which I should have done years ago), and she said, fine I will shred your papers then, and she hung up on me. That's when I realized they don't care for patients, its all about the money. It's not like I've ever stiffed them in the past. I'm a 60 year old woman who expects customer service and customer care from her doctors. After my doctor called the office to let them know I would be coming in, I arrived and began to fill out the paper work. The secretary began to rush me insisting that I needed to finish the paper quickly because they were closing. I told her I was trying my best but after she continued to be visibly agitated she told me that they were closing and I had to leave. After she continued to scream at me to leave the rest of the staff came to see what the commotion was and to my surprise even jumped in. At this point I had the entire staff with the exception of Doctor Gruber yelling that they don't not take my kind here as well as other various slurs. To have an entire staff attack one patient was mind blowing to say the least. As I was alone I decided to call my husband and began speaking to him in my native African dialect, the only African American staff yelled "this is Trumps world now, we need to call trump to get her."
