Greedy,Greedy ,Greedy is how I would describe Myrtle Grove Denistry .I told Carly up front that I could afford $3K-$3.5K for a implant .In the course of an hour they added xrays,pulling tooth ,bone material at a la carte high prices Simple job ended up at $4700 for one implant---Plus they didn't get the color right on the implant tooth .It's bone white against light coffee stained teeth !

I dont know where to even begin, from the moment I made the appointment until I left the office. I have been to many Dental clinic in my 60 years. I had to fill out the questioner at least 5 times, the most confusing question the intrigued me that I have never prior seen before on a health history was the question " Have you had a bad experience with a dental clinic before." Well Now I have. On the appointment day, when the dental assistant called me to come back, she never introduced herself to me. She placed me into the room. I noticed the the chair foot cover was tore in shreds, the chair was dirty. I got x-rays. Then she went to exam my mouth, She didnt even wash her hands. After about 45 minutes, the Dentist came into the room, she again never introduced him nor did he introduce himself. He then brought up my X-rays, placed gloves on , again like all his staff, he never simply washed his hands....he never discussed with me my concerns or desires with my Dental health. I am a medical professional, Physician assistant, I have a discolored tooth that I am concerned about, I addressed that with him.. His response to me was " for your age I would do anything,!" in review, the Dental clinic is dirty, in poor stressed condition, poor and unsanitary hygiene techniques with the dentist and his staff, they are rude and not professional, insulting and uncaring. I'm guessing that by the appearance of the clinic, the poor condition of the clinic he is not caring of his appearance or his reputation. They did a great job getting me in to look at two teeth I had bothering me. Talk to them about what to do and had both teeth pull. Been following their aftercare plan and have not had any problems. Will be going back to them

I have to leave a review because dental work is near to my heart after having so much corrective work done over the past decades. Unfortunately, I feel I was definitely a number in the office, treated as such (overall). I would highly recommend going somewhere else if you want a more detailed cleaning, accurate information, and a dental office that won’t keep you in pain for hours because they scheduled an appointment way too soon after a dental implant, drilling for 2 hours in a sensitive spot, incredibly close to the post surgery date. Very unprofessional. Unfortunately I trusted them as such and my body paid the price for it. To make matters worse, I had to convince them to let me in for an appointment after one of the two crowns I had placed popped off. For someone who just paid them $5,000 up front, you would except this very easy, momentary fix to be handled professionally. After basically arguing my way back into being seen, I had to wait for at least an hour or more, for Dr. Graves to come in a re-place my crown. Again, a less then 5 minute visit. Apparently they were so busy and understaffed (which I can respect) but not too understated to continue to advertise on Facebook for new patient specials on dental implants. Don’t do it. I mean do what you want, but if you trust someone who has spent many hours in the dental chair, go elsewhere. I’m so glad I found a new dentist. Less

I am thrilled I found a dentist office and dental implant surgery all in one. I just moved here from VA Beach and already had some complications from my recent all-on-six dental implant surgery. Needless to say, with the amount of money, time, pain, and desire to look and feel good about myself, I was more than a little scared and was calling every oral surgeon I could find here in Wilmington. I kept getting told that I’d have to go to a regular dentist office first in order to be referred-this made me even more upset because if anyone knows about possible dental implant failure, time is of the essence. When I called Myrtle Grove, they listened patiently while I spoke a mile a minute about the problems I was having and they were able to get me in the same day! I was greeted by the front desk who knew my name before I even told them it was me and Ashley the dental hygienist who I sat with to explain my situation was so kind and understanding. Both Ashley and Dr. Graves took the time to go over x-rays and some other issues/concerns that I wish had been discussed both prior to my surgery in VA and after to ensure the greatest possibility of success with my implants. Dr. Graves was also incredibly honest with me on top of it all, which put me at ease knowing I’m in the right place. I usually hate the dentist but Myrtle grove really made my last 6 month cleaning a pleasant experience - as they always do. The staff is very knowledgeable and will do just about anything to make sure you are comfortable! I highly recommend to anyone needing any dental procedure.

Dr. Graves filled some cavities and replaced old bonding on my front two teeth and they look great! Cat was super kind assisting and Ashley is my favorite dental hygienist of all time! I called on Monday morning with a busted crown. They got me in that afternoon even though I was not a previous patient. On Thursday I had a permanent crown that was so perfect it required no bite adjustment. You can't do better than that.

I went in for a cleaning for my first visit and appreciated the time they took in explaining every step of the cleaning process. My hygienist was excellent in this respect. When the doctor came in he explained what will be needed but did not pressure me in making that commitment on the spot.

Let me preface this by saying that I have a LOT of anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, so I avoid getting dental work done as much as possible. My fear unfortunately has kept me from maintaining my dental health, however in this incidence, I had no choice. I was in excruciating pain with a broken tooth and needed work done immediately. I called Myrtle Grove Dentistry based on a recommendation from a friend, and was able to get an appointment the following day. Upon arrival, I was greeted in a friendly manner and taken back within 5 minutes. The office is very clean and welcoming, and the staff is friendly, and extremely understanding. Dr. Graves assessed my situation very promptly, and gave me my options. I decided to go with a root canal. Within 10 minutes, he was performing the work and I was no longer enduring unbearable pain. I can’t stress enough how impressed I am with Dr. Graves. He is extremely knowledgeable, precise, efficient and comforting! He has a keen awareness of his profession and is very skilled in his work - I did not feel an ounce of discomfort during my procedure. I was able to get my crown the next day and it’s beautiful. He took his time, and made sure the crown was designed to fit in my mouth and with my bite to a tee! His dental assistants are also fantastic and it is obvious how well they all work together as a team. To say that Dr. Graves and his staff helped me overcome my fear is an understatement. I will be going back to Myrtle Grove Dentistry from now on, and highly recommend anyone with high anxiety, as well as everyone else for that matter to visit Dr. Graves for their dental maintenance and needs! In October of 2019 I found myself with an infection of #15 tooth and started looking for a solution. Based on Reviews I read about Myrtle Grove Implant & Family Dentistry, I made an appointment to see Dr. Graves. His analysis of the tooth was that it needed to be removed and replaced with an Implant. Never having had an Implant before, I had questions. Dr. Graves answered all questions and showed me some of the State of the Art modern equipment he has at his disposal to make his practice a one stop shop for all his patients. I was very impressed. Also impressive to me was that Dr. Graves personally called to check up on me the evening of my extraction. I live ~30 miles from Myrtle Grove, but haven't hesitated to make that trip for another Implant (#30), a Crown (#3), and a Cleaning. I have felt comfortable and pain-free for all these procedures, and will continue to have Dr. Graves handle all my dental needs. After I had a molar split in half, causing excruciating pain, I had no option. I went to Dr. Graves, being extremely skeptical. Right away I was greeted with the friendliest staff I have ever met. They explained every step of the process and offered me sedation or nitrous oxide for my nerves. I chose sedation. I ended up having a root canal and several fillings filled. It was the best possible experience. I signed up for his in house plan (which is a STEAL). After my amazing experience and perfectly fixed tooth, I am no longer afraid of going to the dentist and have booked my 1st cleaning in 10 years!!
