Our son has been taking taekwondo classes with Mr. and Mrs. Rico for the past 4 1/2 years. The Rico's go above and beyond to instill the importance of discipline and respect which carries over into all aspects of his life. We highly recommend The Kick Martial Arts and Fitness! After 12+ years with the Rico's, and now having all three kids in black belt classes (1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree black belts), we are so proud of the kids for their perseverance and commitment in the sport, and very grateful to the Rico's for their dedication and hard work in ensuring our kids are kept motivated, skilled, safe, and interested! Of course, nothing in life is perfect and there’s times when it seems greener on the other side. But as long as our kids are happy and motivated, The Kick is where they will remain loyal to. We couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. The Rico's are tough instructors as they need to maintain structure and discipline in class, but they're family oriented and accommodating to try to fit your needs. They also offer kickboxing classes 3 days a week and my 19 years old enjoys taking it to maintain active on non-school days. Taekwondo has been a part of our lives for so many years, and we’ve met so many amazing kids and wonderful families along the way and we’re so excited for the dojang’s future as Mr. Rico will soon become Master Rico! The Kick studio is a positive controlled environment for students and adults to learn martial arts. Mr. and Mrs. Rico support the students to achieve their goals.
