Really poor office experiences over the last couple years after going there for over 5 years. The last straw was an issue with insurance causing difficulty getting a basic cleaning. I would not recommend this office to friends or family. The message from the staff is quite clear. They value protocol over the people and community even when that doesn't really make a whole lot of sense.

I was told & given estimate that it would cost X amount for Invisalign and when I got there for the first appointment, the hygienist said Dr.Salem denied the amount and I am in the examination room for 40 minutes. I was so upset. Then the manger,Erin came in and said the amount I was told originally is correct. Erin was apologizing for misunderstanding and handled the situation professionally. Again, in 25 minutes later, the hygienist came and said I asked Dr.Salem again & she denied the amount again. I have been there for more than an hour and took my time off from work. Dr.Salem did not even bother to come & explain. I asked hygienist if I can speak to the manger again, but by that time she was in the meeting. I left there with nothing done. After an hour office manager Erin called and said she is so sorry this happened and told me to come again. I told her I did felt like leaving the practice that I have been coming for more than 10 years. I had to get a filling and they were so so patient with me and really worked with me to get something to actually numb me. I had no idea that fillings shouldn't be painful and must have never actually been numb before for a filling. The tech Iman was the best dental person I have ever worked with. She really tried to make me comfortable and made sure I was numb for the whole filling. I've never taken the time to review a dental place, but Iman was great and I want to make sure they know it! I have been going to this same local dentistry for several years. Because I am very pleased with the thorough, professional, and honest experience. We never feel as though we are being pushed for additional/ unnecessary services. Unfortunately, I've had the opposite experience with other Dental providers. I have been a patient here for several years and I’m extremely happy with the services provided. Dr. Baku and the team put the patient first. They work great with my insurance provider and they are just so sweet. Although I live in chapel hill, I make the commute here because they are worth it!!

I've been going to Triangle Family Denistry for at least 10 years now. Candace is an AMAZING hygienist. She is so welcoming and easy to talk to. She always goes the extra mile and it is obvious that she cares about her patient's dental health and wellbeing. What a great practice! I always see Candace for my visits. She is the best! She always explains what she's doing and best practices for preventing dental issues down the road. I had a filling done last year by Dr Long - didn't feel a thing and it's doing great! Both Candace and Dr Long are really nice and personable. I definitely recommend them and this office as a whole!

Moved dentist as Triangle Family Dentistry are very much overpriced compared to other practices. New dentist sent a consent form to release records, and all they would do is supply x-ray of my wisdom teeth. A practice that won't give you your own records, judge for yourself. Stay away from this practice unless you like dealing with greedy dental practices and condescending dentists. It was very clear to me that Dr. Nada Salem was only interested in filling her quota of dental services as she asked me if I was interested in every dental procedure under the sun. After expressing little interest, she went on to say that I needed 2 new crowns immediately (procedures that according to their clinic would cost thousands). When I got a second opinion at my old dental clinic, they said that I need no such thing and that even though my crowns were old, they can be safely monitored with future visits. Furthermore, I tried this dentistry for the first time and listed a pre-existing health condition that was exacerbated by covid. Instead of being understanding or even really listening to what I was telling them, I got a 5 minute lecture in the dentist chair about how I needed to see a physician right away. Not only did the dentist ignore what I was saying but also heavily implied that I was not capable of taking care of my own health. This not only showed in her "bedside" manner but also in the way she was prescribing treatment. There's a lot of 5 star reviews for this practice but I hope someone sees this review and thinks twice before going. P.S. If you happen to have the misfortune of going to this clinic first and wanted a second opinion, they will purposely send low quality X-Rays to you to make getting that second opinion even more difficult. Do not trust this practice. I have reached out to the practice numerous times with concerns regarding substandard dental work I received there. I sent you emails and spoke to you on the phone to explain all that. You said that you would speak to the dentist / owner and follow up with me. Afterwards, I sent a couple of emails requesting that you follow up with me regarding the status but you simply ignored my requests. I never heard anything else from you. I trusted The integrity of this practice. Since 2016, Ive had THOUSANDS of dollars worth of dental work at Triangle but then couldn’t even get the courtesy of a follow up call much less any resolution for the horrible dental work that was performed. I was at one of your offices on a very regular basis. Most of those visits were follow ups due to inadequate work performed by the dentist. I would return in hopes that the dentist would want to fix the problem. A coupe of times she replaced a filling that she did (due to my floss Snagging an overhang from the filling she had done on my previous visit). This is not what I expect from a good dentist. The list of problems goes on and on. i returned time after time seeking help for the crown that was placed. After the dentist replaced an older filling I had, I started having pain. So naturally I had to go back and get a root canal and crown on that tooth. I’ve had nothing but more problems from that tooth ever since. However, after returning so many times over the next couple of years trying to get that problem resolved, the dentist Never offered to replace the crown even though the crown was clearly a Fail. Instead, I incurred thousands more in dental expenses filling the tooth next to the crown ( to fill in the gap that was now between my 2 back teeth). Because they filled the tooth next to it several times ( trying to fill in the space), of course i then had to get a crown for that tooth too. So, yes, I have “reached out” to Triangle with faith that they would see me through these issues, but when I realized that they werent concerned with the well being or the best interest of a patients dental health ( and ignored my requests for follow up), I finally woke up and found an ethical dental office. I am regular visitor here for Cleaning and filling.Every time I come this place takes care of me very well with their excellent service .I would definitely recommend this place. I went for Wisdom tooth removal and Dr Long took take care of me very well. And the procedure went smooth and i would go back to this place . Dr Long was the Best.
