Bowling Mechanic - Job Description
JOB PURPOSE: Performs maintenance and repairs on bowling equipment.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains bowling lanes, pinsetters, pins, ball returns, scoring equipment and all other related mechanical components. Performs regular servicing and preventative maintenance procedures on all bowling equipment. Clean, repair and adjust automated scoring equipment. Identifies replacement parts and supplies; prepares orders. Performs major rebuilds and overhauls of equipment as necessary. May participate in planning servicing/maintenance budgets and preparing major improvements and repair programs. Maintains accurate records of parts.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of bowling and pinsetter equipment. Ability to use basic hand tools, lubrication equipment, meters, power tools. Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems on sophisticated machinery and to perform precision mechanical and electrical adjustments. Ability to work in safe and efficient manner.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: Two years experience in maintaining and repairing bowling and pinsetter equipment. Preferably Brunswick GS pinsetters. Certifications/Licenses: Completion of Brunswick training program preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sitting, standing, walking, driving, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs multiple times per shift, talking, hearing, and seeing.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Spends most time indoors with possible exposure to distracting/uncomfortable noise levels. Risk of bodily injury from mechanical parts, electricity, etc.
Pay: DOE Hours: 20-30 hours a week.
Arcade Attendant
JOB PURPOSE/JOB SUMMARY: The Arcade Attendants are responsible for attending to the facility and customers needs. This includes providing admission into the facility, prize redemption, food services, and basic cleaning needs. They are also responsible for providing assistance, training and safety in the virtual reality arena, laser tag arena and bowling lanes. Arcade Attendants should have good time management skills, accuracy, self starting characteristics, and be willing to help in the company wherever needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Attend to customer needs to provide them a positive experience, keep the facility consistently clean and well kept, train customers on safety and rules for Virtual Reality, Laser Tag and Bowling Lanes with positive attitude and fun energy, help in the organization of product/facility. Duties and Responsibilities subject to change according to the company's needs.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 16 years old, attention to detail, good time management skills, independent, works well with others, good Organizational skills, must know basic arithmetic, positive attitude, able to stay calm in stressful situations.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Rotating Shifts; Any where from M-Sat 10am - 1am Shifts; Occasional Sundays may be required, regular weekend and late night shifts, may encounter difficult confrontations with customers; must have ability to stay calm under stressful situations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must to be able to regularly lift up to 10lbs and occasionally lift up to 25lbs. Shifts will require you to be constantly on foot.
